I love it that it was City he did it against too. They can pretend he’s beneath them or that they don’t need him but they will be absolutely sick tonight that they spent the money on Grealish and didn’t come close to matching Kane’s true valuation. All of that is of course to our benefit as he is an exceptional player. That was one of the best individual performances in recent memory. Back Conte, keep Harry happy so he signs a new deal, and we’d go into next season full of optimism.

Here we go again with the ‘He deserves better’ bullshit…

This woke, ‘I’m so liberal and reasonable’ #freeharrykane shit - from our own fucking fans no less- pisses me off no end.
Shouldn’t be Kane we’re annoyed about

He was/is our Golden Goose and ‘we’ve’ Killed him

Really sad & unforgivable imo

After the third goal I saw Pep like just berating or shouting at the coaches and I was thinking - I bet he is just cursing the fact that he is in love with Kane and couldnt get him... but couldnt think of the words so... this says it better I think... i can pretty much guarantee Pep was cursing the fact he didnt get Kane. He cant get what he wants for once.

There has to be a face saving way that we can all put the past into the past and let bygones be bygones. I'm speaking of course about those people who said as recently as yesterday to get rid and he is past his prime. come back all is forgiven! It's fun on the bandwagon

Fabulous performance today. And although it'll just hype up the interest in him again, I love the fact he did it against City.

Club have gotta back Conte, and give Kane a great reason to wanna stay in the summer.

Outrageous performance, comfortably the best player on the pitch. Forget all that nonsense of the Summer people don’t realise how bad it would be to see him in another teams shirt, up to the club to show him ambition, walks in to any side in world football.

That's an all-time #9 performance. As some others have said, you'll struggle to find a better performance from any striker throughout modern history.

I stand by it.
How can he be past his prime with today’s performance? He’s played as well previously on many occasions but he’s never played better

Scored 10 goals for England this season. Has 17 in 34 for Tottenham & he’s 28 years old

Your argument is a very tough position to defend atm

I don’t think it even matters anyway even if you could justify it. A 70% Kane is still head and shoulders above all of our players and worth more to us than any potential money received.

When you’re one of the best 2 or three teams in the league and have one of the best squads you can maybe consider cashing in on one of your best players if the time is right……. the position we are in, most definitely not.

We are witnessing one of the greatest players to ever pull on our shirt. I think I definitely forget this now and then (and am probably not the only one). We’ll look back in 10/20 years time and we will all be happy that we were privileged to see him play for us.

All I ask from him now is an FA Cup Final winning goal this season. It would be a reward for everyone involved in the club including us fans.

I'd offer him a new 7 years contract. Seriously. All the way till he's 35.

Why? Because he is on top of his game and he's already lost pace and athleticism, so he can't get worse. Pure class, vision and intelligence is what he has and he won't lose that.

Arguably the best player in the league. I know Salah gets all the plaudits but for me Kane is a more talented player.

I think today is an illustration of what fitness brings, We were great under Poch because amongst other things there was a real emphasis on fitness.
Conte brings that same level and Harry clearly benefits from this, he looks so much leaner than the last couple of years.
