TBF that Bayern team are only going to get stronger as well. As pedestrian as we think those defences are, don't forget the likes of our Mickey played there. H is just playing with the shackles off, no longer having to worry about dropping deep to create, and on the end of actual quality again. I reckon he'd have 15 if he was with us still.

Best all round centre forward on the planet. 50 goals minimum for him, in all competitions, this season.
He's constantly dropping deep for Bayern as well though.

He's attempted it more times than I remembered. It's more difficult to get it right in a live game than many people realize aswell

I reckon Ange would blow a fucking gasket if he was doing that type of thing here, and rightly so.

But this was "the" match right? Dortmund away... Just goes to show how weak the Bundesliga is.
If Man City were dropped in the championship, they'd still have to work harder for their wins than Bayern do.
Makes Harry's records over there fairly meaningless. He's left the UFC fighting ring to test his strength in the kindergarten playground...

It's basically like Gazza going to Scotland (even though it was after he fucked his knee and was half the player he was for us)

I think it's embarrassing for German football how good Kane looks, he's making Lewandowski look like he was a pub player.

I don’t pay that much attention to other leagues.

One thing that has stood out for me is how quickly the German fans and press have acknowledged Kane is better than Lewandowski. Comfortably so.

It isn't remotely that bad. Most German clubs will give ours a run for their money in European competitions.

I feel it's embarrassing for Kane himself as well... That League is so poor, it does him no credit having to ply his trade there.
I can fully understand his desire to leave the madhouse that was THFC before Ange - but I can't understand or respect his decision to go to the Bundesliga...

Come on guys, Bayern are one of the best teams in world football and have been for as long as we all can remember. Yes there aren’t as many strong teams in the league as there are here but to make out it’s a shit league is crazy. To go there is generally an honour for players and Kane’s start there just proves how amazing he is, not how shit their league is. Haaland scored bundles in the PL, does that make it a shit league too? And Kane scored 30 in a terrible Spurs team. I think it just boils down to their defenders not being able to cope with Kane’s precision and positioning. Kane’s record over there isn’t meaningless at all, are we going to say that about all the great strikers that have played there? Gerd Muller, Klinsmann, Rummenigge, Klose, Ohlhauser etc. It’s such a weird thing to say. The pressure is on at one of the biggest clubs in the world and he’s killing it.

Thank fuck he went there instead of staying In the PL but let’s not do what all the opposition fans did when he was here and try to find negatives in his situation and reasons why he’s doing well, let’s just appreciate his brilliance.

I for one am appreciative of his success with Bayern. Kills off the “one year wonder” nonsense. Makes his play with Spurs even more awesome.

it’s not often clubs get to have more than one legend goal scorers and Tottenham is incredibly spoiled in this area!

It used to be a great league - I grew up watching it every week. It was great until Bayern went on and actively destroyed all competition by not sharing the wealth and robbing its challengers blind with Bosman free transfers. And now they're the one giant cactus in a desert of nothing. They couldn't even give away the title last season because there was no one capable of accepting the gift.

Of course Kane is still an exceptional player - we've known that all along even if others didn't. He's capable of making it everywhere. He'd have gotten much more credit however if he'd done the same thing in Spain or Italy - and rightly so in my view.

I think the thing is with us is we know how good Kane is, and it's no real surprise he's tearing it up.

But other fans are like yeah well he's world class what did you expect (now he's at Bayern), when he was at spurs it was like he's good but overrated because he's not playing for United or Liverpool.

Also let's not shit on Lewandoski, he's a fantastic player, for me (and most on here) he doesn't offer as much as Kane does, but still excellent.

Benzema in his last couple of seasons with Real was on par with Kanes overall game, but there's no striker in world football currently who matches him.

If Bayern win the CL he might even get the Ballon dor. But again it doesn't matter, he is currently the best no 9 AND no 10 in world football imo.

So glad he is doing well. A truly world class (remember that argument) generational talent. Who still won't be fully appreciated until he retires.

Kane sets four Bundesliga records at once.

With his hat-trick in Dortmund, Bayern striker Harry Kane made Bundesliga history - and not just once.

Kane overtakes Haaland, Lewandowski and Matischak.

1. With his three goals against BVB, Kane now has 20 scorer points (15 goals, five assists) after ten Bundesliga appearances. He shattered the previous league record. Since assists began being recorded in 1988/89, no player has collected nearly as many scorer points in his first ten appearances. The previous leaders were the then Dortmund player Erling Haaland (2019/20: ten goals, three assists) and the ex-Bremer Diego (2006/07: five goals, eight assists) with 13 each.

2. 20 scorer points after ten match days of a season - regardless of whether they were the first ten Bundesliga games of the career - is a new Bundesliga record (since assists were recorded in 1988/89). The previous one was held by Robert Lewandowski, who made 18 in the Bayern jersey in 2020/21.

3. 15 goals after ten Bundesliga appearances is also a new record. He replaces Klaus Matischak (FC Schalke 04), who scored 13 times in his first ten appearances in 1963/64, the first Bundesliga season ever.

4. 15 goals after ten games this season is also a record. Only Gerd Müller had achieved that in 1968/69.

It's what we all knew. He's not just a striker. He was our best creative midfielder. He was our best creator. He was our best forward. He's an all timer and I'm glad he's getting his due.

Sadly, he probably did need to play elsewhere to get new fans watching each of his matches for them to recognise how good he is.
