Lose a game and they write this. I don’t think he will go yet. Who would afford him anyway?
Tottenham Hotspur fear Harry Kane will seek summer transfer
Tottenham Hotspur fear that a disillusioned Harry Kane could join the growing list of senior players who want to leave in the summer. The striker, who will be 27 in July, is ambitious to win trophies and the club fear that he is losing patience, with several players expected to leave at the endwww.thetimes.co.uk
If we don’t win anything with Kane it will show us a very poorly run club on the playing side.
I think our transfer business has been crap during last few years since we got Son and Alderweireld that summer, which was really good business and Wanyama the following summer. All top quality players at time, which really added to our squad.
This summer I think again we signed some top players but have been very unlucky two have not been available and third needs to sort fitness.
But we have been in position before (under ‘Arry) where we really looked like we could be reaching for the stars and... we bought in Nelson and Saha... ?
It seems Poch was to blame for being too picky last summer, but we really should have a better scouting and transfer system in place so we had promising alternatives to the silly targets Poch would only settle for.
It just feels lazy at spurs where we have a good team at that moment in time so why bother making any transfers?
We should have bought in a decent striker to give Kane cover, then maybe we wouldn’t have thrashed him to death and him getting those ankle injuries (plus an option to rotate / sub him with) and there have been areas in team like Wanyama being knackered (SURELY our medical team must have picked this up) and Dembele being near end of career, waited far too long to replace him and shouldn’t have been relying on him first half of last season.
And why did we sign Aurier over Pereira??
We had a promising team with Kane as our talisman and really we’ve completely wasted it. Someone like Kane should be playing alongside top quality players and this should have happened at Spurs.
