Lovely two goals for H today. What impressed me more was he had more fight today. Chasing their defenders down and the energy to get on the end of Lamelas strike so late into the game. Dont think it is him having more energy as he is playing every game, just getting confidence back in his body but his instincts are still as sharp as ever.

Good to see our past it striker playing in an uncreative side during a shit season managing to guarantee himself better than 1 in 2 league goals for a sixth successive season with 2 games to go. Something Keane and Berbatov didn’t manage for us even once, and Defoe only once.

That's a club record, although Greavsie would probably have reached the milestone 8 seasons on the bounce (1961/62 to 1968/69) if he hadn't missed so many games in 1965/66 due to his bout of hepatitis, which ruined his preparations for the World Cup. For the record, he 'only' scored 15 goals from 29 League games and 1 from 2 FA Cup games that season.

It is what the pro Harry people say " give him the service and he will score " I can't get my head around the fact that more than a few want him rested or dropped or even sold . When it is obvious to me that with the right service he will score plenty of goals .
They moan about him being quiet in some games even the great Jimmy Greaves suffered this criticism but look at his record and up to now Harrys goal record stands as a good comparison to Greavesie .
