So you don't think Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Dele, Sanchez, Doherty to name a few need replacing.I didn't say they are. It's just annoying seeing people bleat about what they would do differently if they were running the club (as manager or owner), yet they would make the exact same mistakes. One minute it's "back the manager", then it's "we shouldn't have signed (insert player manager coveted". You're doing the exact same thing suggesting it's "the same people making the decisions" when it clearly isn't.
As a note, clubs are clearly influenced by supporter opinion - that's been the topic of the last few months.
The players, like Kane, will echo these sentiments - it doesn't mean that they are right, though. I'd be asking Harry to point out who, in the team, should be replaced. If he doesn't point out players who he's likely to be mates with, like Winks/Dier/Dele, then he needs to be realistic.
Chelsea went from mid-table under Lampard to top-four under Tuchel with the same set of players - I don't think that a "rebuild" is needed if you get in a new coach/manager whose style suits the core of what we already have, and who isn't bothered about getting rid of the buddy club in the same way Poch did when he started.
Who knows if Kane is even the one putting pressure on the English core to be playing?
