I'm not sure if it will happen, but I think there are a lot of people in denial in here that there isn't at least a chance. In fact, I think it is a pretty good chance. City almost always get who they want.

I can still see him playing at 35/36 and back with us for a couple of years when we will be a force again. You could see at 18 that a lot of his quality is in his head and not based on pace/physique.

Not true, actually. City have often passed on targets if the price is, in their estimation, too high.

They think that they can get Kane this summer for £100m, plus or minus, and that’s what Cheeseman’s City sources are telling him.

They are wrong about that.
