It must mean the likelihood of them signing HK slightly diminishes if they do. You’d be looking at £250m on 2 players. I know they’ve got the money, especially if they sell but even so, that would be a staggering outlay.

Agreed on these. Modelled my game on Waddle as a kid, idolized Gazza, but as I moved on to be a striker it was Teddy who I adored (Even though I got called Beardsley in school; hopefully for my style of play and not my face!). Loved Teddy so much I named one of my dogs after him.

It honestly wouldn't shock me if they had a clause in their already contentious stadium naming-rights deal for a huge bonus payment every time they break their club transfer record.

Agreed. It was evident for me when he plays for England and all the posts he makes, yet during the season with us, you’d be lucky to get 1 post a month.
