I have not asked for many things in my life. But I really wish Skipp will make the perfect sliding tackle on Kane, sending him over the sideline. Skipp turns to the crowd, fist pumping. And the crowd starts singing that Skipp is one of our own.

I just want to add, by sending him over the sideline I don't mean he should get a serious injury. Just some limping and hurting his soul is enough.

Thought it would hurt a lot more than it does. The circus that they put on has really soured myself and a lot of others.

I always thought he would get us over the top and that would be his legacy, now it seems more like his sales and the players brought in from it may do it.

The Kane money being what the we hoped the Bale money would be. That’s his potential legacy now, a sad end. A great player, but will probably never go down the way he should have.

How do you guys think he will be viewed in England after his career though? I'm an American so I can't really spectate how YOU guys view him but I do kind of relate as a Lakers fan who watched Kobe Bryant all his life.
If he breaks PL all time goal scorer record and wins trophies with city he’ll be regarded as a phenomenal striker but legacy clearly means nothing to him as he has a chance to be a clubs all time leading goal scorer and he’d rather throw that away for a few plastic trophies with city and a faint hope of one ballon dor.

Kane is completely out for himself and his ego, that’s fine but it’s just a massive shame.

I personally respect Le Tissier & Shearer over a lot of other great strikers who made moves between top Clubs Shearer had one 1 PL title sure but he chose legacy with his boyhood club over more titles and seeing his interviews I think he doesn’t regret it one bit tbh.

Anyone else just feel numb over it? I'm not mad or disappointed after all the shit he has pulled, I think it all slowly eroded away my care for him. His transfer away isn't really impacting my positive feelings for the club and its current direction. I feel much better now that I did when it was discovered that Bale was off.

Kind of.
It was going to happen, so already accepted it. Was just hoping we didn't need to replace him this window

that's disgrace to the team fought till the CL final. charlie or harry is that you?

"Disgrace" - what a clown you are!

Did you watch any of the league games? To even suggest that the CL were anything other than completely out of character compared to how the team played in the league at that time is ridiculous.

Sad for me. Selling our own, England Captain.
Plus, my daughter’s 4 and she’s just starting saying she’s Harry Kane when we play football in the garden.
This will take some explaining :-/

Hopefully LM and DV are both bought to replace him.
Teach her about Shelina Zadorsky, Spurs women’s captain and Olympic gold medalist.

Just next time she says that in the garden, try not to two-foot her into the neighbours!

So when Wigan won the FA Cup, it was all random luck because they also got relegated?

Or does the league form not actually make the cup performances an extra bit special?

Well Harry, here’s some parting wishes.

I hope Sterling never passes to you.
I hope you and DeBruyne are never fit at the same time.
And obviously, I hope your boy supports united.

Now, I’m off to change my social media pictures to Sonny. And unblock that guy that does the obviously really obviously unfunny impressions of you.

obviously.

As he pockets 3, 4, 5 or 6 hundred grand a week I don't think he would give a fuck what anyone thinks of him.
Says everything about the modern game.

But I disagree I think Kane does care about what people think of him for sure which is why he said he wants to be regarded like Messi & Ronaldo etc. He absolutely cares for sure.

Tbh I'm finding this all a bit sickening.

Think my faith in any player playing for the badge is well and truly over for ever.

It's not the same football anymore, full of multi-millionaire tossers.

Certainly never going to hero worship a player again.
A wise decision. It's fine to have a favourite player, but idolizing them is a no. With that said, players like Jan and Mousa I will always have a soft spot for from among the recent bunch we had.
