No doubling he's a great player. But he's not better than Modric or Bale. I just don't see Kane rising to the big occasion like those two. I guess we'll see.

Individual talent no. But far far more consistent.

That Bale AVB season was incredible and Modric was a joy to watch....Again they didnt lead us to glory in big games either....

You know that moment when you realise that the relationship you’ve been trying to hold together (going on holiday, date nights, etc.) is finally done?

The surprising relief, mixed with excitement for a fresh start and what the future could hold?

That.
... I take it you won't be joining me for date night tomorrow then?

Anything under £150m isn't acceptable. Levy needs to remind us of his glory days with this deal. 120 would be a joke, even with add ons.

It should be 150 basic plus add ons.

But all our players want trophies. Shall we just sell them all and end the club?

The club is having to re build.
New manager, and having to re fresh the squad.

Kane probably sees this as his chance to move on to win things rather than seeing how another new manager goes here.

Because arguably we had a worse squad overall. What we do know is that they certainly are massive game players. I could be wrong, but I dont see Kane kicking on like those two did.

According to Opta of the top seven players, five played for City and the other two were Grealish and Kane.

Where is the outrage from Sky about the lack of competition??

"We really admire that Man City were the first club to pull out of the Super League. City understood the damage to competition that might cause."

We need a miracle on Sunday. If we get absolutely hammered by Man City and then Kane is announced a few days after it’s going to be very bleak.

Putting Kane to the side, I’m just sad that English football has been so corrupted that a foreign state can buy championships and trophies. Where’s the romance? Where are the dreams?

Frankly, if this year’s Champions’ League final is Qatar Sovereign Wealth Fund vs Abu Dhabi Sovereign Wealth Fund why should anyone care?

AND IT’S LIVE …

Can’t think why they’re not bothered.

Lads he hasn't left yet and while I acknowledge there's ITK saying he is going deals don't always work out so until some more concrete stuff comes out that a deal is agreed/done it might be advisable to put down the pitch forks for the moment
