Thank you all. X
I remember you all very well. I was an away season ticket holder in the 90’s. I used to travel to the away games a lot of the time on the British Queen coach which was organized by the Ross brothers. We might have had a meh team back then but the away support was golden and the Palmer Green Boys were always doing their best to make the atmosphere positive and fun. Great days.

Just thinking - but if the stadium naming rights are tied to the Kane deal - that means that Spurs, Kane, and City have known for a while that this deal would go through - and these last couple of weeks have been one big charade by everyone...

I'm not buying this sponsorship stuff involving city as we got told early days from our itks something good will come at the end of this window which pointed towards a sponsorship weeks and weeks ago. Hence why we have money to spend regardless of whether kane goes or not.

I think a deal is already in place elsewhere tbh.

@C-oops @Guntz

What are you disagreeing with?

Harry Kane is most likely going to be the greatest English goalscorer ever and has just finished with 23 goals & 14 assists in the premier league.

Why shouldn't we be hung up about the fee if it's smaller than Coutinho's? It would be outrageous if he went for less money than that with 3 years left on his contract.

That's why I disagreed with your comment.

I've said before I don't blame Kane for wanting to leave at his stage of his career. There would always have been a professional and personal desire to win titles and CL trophies and that's become very uncertain at Spurs.

What bugs me is the utter lack of heat about Oil Slave clubs and players playing for Oil Slave clubs. Grealish and Kane in one transfer window when Euprope is completely broke - except for another Oil slave club that's just taken the cream of uncontracted talent.

So good luck Harry but I would just love for one journo - just one - to ask him will he be taking the knee for all the migrant slave laborers that have died and had their blood sportwashed by the Club he's just signed for.

Just fucking ask the question you cowards.

While I get all the uncertainty about Kane, is he staying?, going?, going for how much?, if he goes who will we replace him with?. This is a serious conundrum.

What I don’t get is the number of other areas of the squad that need addressing that are still in limbo, CB, RB, CM. These are not Kane related and I’m struggling to grasp why these aren’t nailed, assuming there is money of course. These are unrelated to the Kane debacle and in the event we lose Kane it is even more important giant holes in the squad are addressed. Hope this Kane situation isn’t distracting us.

Good post. You only have to watch him for England to know he struggles without service, particularly against decent opposition

Not sure he need service, what he needs is movement around and in front of him. Then he'll do well.
The days when you can send the ball up to him and he'll take on everyone by himself is long gone.
That was the issue for Kane with England and Southgate's defensive line up.

TBH money talks. I'm all for the extortion amount of money thrown around in football now.

What irks me the most was really how Kane mugged us off with all his idotic actions and stunts, disrespecting us, gaslighting us, when he really should have the intelligence to know better as a Spurs poster boy and England captain. And just as worse was Pep being such a hypocritical twat in flashing his knickers showing no class in the media talking Kane up.

Fucking shit both. Fucking pair of shit.

Really surprised Man U haven't come to the party for Kane.

Always thought he would go there if he ever left. A proper football club at least.

I just really hope he never wins the champions league there. He's selfishness declaring himself fit over man of the moment lucas arguably cost us our shot at glory.
He was almost certainly selfish in declaring himself fit but the real culprit is Poch who should have said fair enough but you’ll start on the bench. It’s Poch’s pandering to Kane that has led to his sense of self entitlement. The lack of game time back up strikers got because we allowed Kane to chase his personal goal scoring records is scandalous.
