I haven't seen the replay, but I was about 10 yards from H (I sit row 6) and it looked like Gio and Son were screaming on it edge of the box? Also with their goalie coming out, a quick pass would have been close to an open goal?

Perhaps I need to see the replay again, but in real time, it pissed me off that he tried that weak lob thing after giving the keeper plenty of time to get back to his line

I get what you're saying, and agree maybe he should have passed. But this is a still from when he shot, passing it wasn't going to lead to an immediate goal.

At least he's giving the likes of Sky Sports and Talksport lots of 'free' column inches every time City don't win. Keep riding that tired wave fellas!

He looked better yesterday, and worked well for the team which is nice to see. Still nowhere near his best yet, but you feel it's coming. If you are being hyper critical, he should have cut back to Son who was in a better position rather than take that 2nd shot from a really tight angle.

To be fair to the pundits I was thinking exactly the same thing when I watched City's first half against Liverpool. They have a gaping Kane shaped hole in their squad and I can't for the life of me understand why they didn't go all out for him and put in a fair offer that would have at least brought Spurs to the table. To prioritise Grealish for 100 million when you already have the wealth of talent they have in midfield is just absurd to me.

Anyway, he is our player and it was a much better all round performance from Kane yesterday. He is clearly desperate for the goal, hopefully when it does come it will open the flood gates.

I came in here to post about Neville on Sky again- I mean WTF
His golfing interview and constant shit over the summer didn't make the proposed move appear.
My feeling is that that ship has sailed for HK now as City will go all out for Haarland next summer (I'm not ITK or anything) and if HK keeps playing as shit as he is, then none of the "BIG" clubs will pay what we want as he'll still have 2 years left on his contract.
The only upside for me with this is HK pulls his finger out and works his bollox off for us this season (if only for a move next summer)

Nobody is holding Kane hostage to do these interviews. He has to want to do them.

To me, i dont need to see anything else to know he’s mentally not even close to being in it at this point. Emerson put a ball on a fucking plate for him to bang in & he didnt even move to put a boot on it. I dont care to see him in a spurs shirt again. Shame we didnt try to guard against this in the summer. We need a striker. Desperately.
Utter drivel as always. Nothing is more important to Kane than those goalscorng records. He won’t just bin a season off. That 50 yard effort shows he’s up for it. Matter of time.

What price will Daniel ask Saudis for Harry Kane ..this Jan? I reckon it could well be North of £200m ....it would also not surprise me if they pay it. He may well be their statement signing...

I would certainly accept their offer and test how badly he wants to leave.

No club should accept their Money for anything or anyone. If the rest of the PL wants to have some control on the league and limit their power this is the best way to do it.

Another club for a bidding war potentially, works for us short-term. If they hire Conte it will be hard to turn them down for many reasons.

I don’t see why Kane would go to Newcastle. It will take them at least 3 seasons to get a half decent team.
Sooner than us then!!

And with the right appointments at the top and some wise signings it won’t take 3 seasons for a half decent team

This January and the Summer and they could definitely have a half decent team

I wouldn’t be so sure, it took City three or four years to get into contention at the top, and that was at a time when FFP was not restrictive. Everyone will know they have money to burn and prices will be adjusted accordingly.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see some players turn them down given the bad publicity too. Especially if things ramp up around that.

I honestly don’t see Kane going there, he will have better options.

Really wish the rest of the premier league teams would do this, but they’ll all be eager to sell their deadwood to them.

They won’t be able to buy the top top players straight away, so they’ll be going for players to get them fighting in the top ten to top six range in the immediate future.

City went through their Mark Hughes phase first where they signed the likes of Roque Santa Cruz and Craig Bellamy etc.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see them bidding for Dele in January, and I can’t see Levy turning down good money for him going forward.

If they start bidding for players like Dele and appoint managers like Hughes then Kane will be in his pipe & slippers before they win anything

They can attract top players straight away if they want to.
