Regarding Peps "Harry Kane team" comment, I have always felt this has been mis-interpreted and it was in fact a dig at the media for constantly hyping Kane and failing to recognise that as good as he might be, he still needs 10 other players around him on the pitch. I don't think Pep meant any disrespect to Spurs by that comment.

Lol, nah. It was a dig at Poch, because he's Espanyol.

If we get a couple more own goals in our favour they would have been Chelseas top scorer last season and they didnt have a bad season did they? its just that we have had a freakishly large number of OG's in our favour this season.
It's just a shame Jamie Carragher won't be playing in our game at Anfield, I'm sure he would take us over the line

I've never seen a greater discrepancy in ability between shots at goal from open play and from free-kicks.

Other than maybe Cristiano Ronaldo, De Bruyne, or Maddison, I wouldn't choose anyone over Kane from open play.

When it comes to free-kicks, I can't imagine there'd be many players in the league I'd not choose over Kane  Even without the whip and dip of a player like Ward-Prowse, you'd really expect Kane to be able to test the goalkeeper way more than he does. Closest I can remember him coming is hitting the bar/post a couple of times.

Surely only a matter of time before Kulu steps up for one. Especially if its to the right of the box. If he can't take them then maybe we can find a wing back or central midfielder who can take them.

When was the last time we scored direct from a free kick?

I can remember Hoddle getting a few….
Eriksen was obviously pretty decent. Trippier got one at Wembley in 2017 against Fulham not sure if there has been one since.

Baffles me we don't have a player who can take a free kick.

Everytime he steps up you know what is going to happen, why can't we tell him to stop taking them, he'd be much more dangerous in the box reacting to any second balls.

Maddison in that list looks so strange

Since the start of the 2018-19 season - his first campaign with Leicester - James Maddison has scored more Premier League goals from outside the box than any other player (13), overtaking James Ward-Prowse (12) with today’s strike.

Not sure that we don't have someone, it's just nobody else gets a look in.

Just a pity that, unlike JWP, he seems to be a bit of a twat.

eriksen free kicks got worse over time, overall pretty poor for us in that department, less mention his corners as well
