Imagine a player like Kane, not in Europe, embarrassing.

He is so good, fuck shearers record, go to Madrid or Bayern and become a legend. United are not big enough for him.

Against Leeds he was unplayable, two out of this world passes. He's world class and I don't care how much he is getting paid, he needs to go for his own good.

It's not Totti at Roma, it's more like if C Ronaldo stayed at Sporting Lisbon his whole career.

It's been an absolute pleasure watching him over the years, his best season and I still think he hasn't peaked. Go and do it at a club that want to win things.
No one is talking this way about Chelsea's players and they miss Europe all the time. No one was talking this way about Arsenal's players when they were finishing 8th. No one was talking this way about Liverpool's players when they were missing Europe either.

NONE of their fans were talking like this. Posts like this are fucking embarrassing. Not Kane (who was a part of this team) missing Europe.

NONE eh? Did you speak to them all individually? Did you get Gallup to do a poll? Can you provide your data and research points. We’d all like to read them

That's because Chelsea and Arsenal and Liverpool don't have world class players. Name one that is even close to the level of Kane.

Don't give a shit what you think is embarrassing as well.

30 goals in a team that finished 8th.

Also Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpol have all showed a desire to actually get back on top, we have been happily drifting for years. If Tottenham had matched Kanes ambition over the last 4 years I would agree, we haven't.

30 goals in a team that finished 8th, the rest of our squad is an embarrassment, any idea where we would be in the table if you take kanes goals out?

Go to Madrid for two seasons...come back to Spurs and break the record.

No problem.
Yep. Have him sign a new 5 year deal with the next 2 on loan at Real Madrid for a large loan fee. Everyone’s happy. He can come back and get us promoted back to the Premier League.

The time for him to leave was when City wanted it, that's why I understood his desire, but I disapproved of the way he handled the situation. Today I think it's stupid of him to go to a United that is so far behind City, since the justification for his departure is titles. Now it seems to me that being the star of your childhood team is safer than leaving for a team that does not become favorites even with his presence on the team. It is a pity that he has reached this point in his career without titles, he is a brilliant player and will be underestimated by generations to come, even though there are few intelligent strikers like him.

I loosely calculated it at 24 points his goals won us, his assist against Man Utd recently also contributed towards a point. so we'd be on 35 points without him, below Everton and a point above Leicester. Not to say someone else wouldn't have scored in his absence but not good reading nevertheless.

Arsenal was talking about it with Henry.
No one performed at Chelsea this season.
Salah had like 19 goals and Liverpool is way ahead of us, despite glaring defensive problems that was being targeted by the opposition.
Our team is in a much worse position than Liverpool with Son being 1/2 the player he was. Our managerial situation was a shambles. And yet Kane was just as good.
He epitomizes professionalism amid all the mediocrity and chaos around him. He carried this team like no other player had.
For this reason it is hard not to think that he doesn't deserve better than us. He does.

Europe isn’t a god given right for players. Especially with how competitive the premier league is now. There are 6 Big clubs vying for 4 CL places and two Europa. Then you have disrupters like Newcastle, Brighton and Villa. One of the big clubs invariably misses out on Europe. It’s not happened to us for 13 years. People are being way over the top about.

It’s disappointing and not where we want to be, but it’s not the end of the club.

I think he's gonna end up at Real and play with Haaland at some point.

whoever comes in has a chance with Kane without him it really doesn't bare thinking about
whoever comes in will not have the immediate pressure to get the team back into Europe by the season after, provided kane is absent.

If and when DL decides to let Kane go, he will know better than to expect the team to challenge for Europe. It's us fans who would have to digest and accept this.

Ornstein was on Sky’s Sunday morning football programme and he was adamant we want to keep him this summer, try and get him to sign a contract before next summer and if that doesn’t come off he’ll go in 2024.

He also said Kane isn’t agitating to go this summer as far as he’s aware. And that the main team who’ve been linked with him, man Utd, aren’t sure the investment is worth it at all because of the cost and his age.

Him leaving seems very media driven when the facts are laid out.
