i think it is more likely he leaves for a foreign club than stays with us. I never said any differently. You just bowled into a comment which was about moving to a PL rival. I don’t think that is likely.
You think when he’s like 4 or 5 goals away from the all time top scorer he will move to a foreign club after this season. Absolutely no chance mate!

I really want him to stay...

but I am expecting Bayern to cough up the cash and for him to move.

If he stays we will need him to at the very least sign a 1-year extension... or else Jan is gonna be freaking horrible.

Just think of how Jan will be like....

its either he signs a pre-contract... and is just biding this time, or he doesn't sign a pre-contract and is open to moving to another english team.

i wish we could have this settled earlier. :sorry:

I wanna tell you,
I might as well do,
About a boy who could do anything,
He comes from Chingford,
His name is Harry,
Harry Kane, Harry Kane, Harry Kane...

Dunno if players even think like this but Bayern being publicly quite embarrassing through their journos and own directors would give me the ick as well
There was a rumour that Kane was very unimpressed with the shirt stunt.

Your reading comprehension skills are on fire today! As is your lack of self-awareness in calling someone else stupid.
I called your take stupid not you. Maybe you could brush up on your reading comprehension to bud.

Pretty sure we've already had "deluded", "naive", "denial" thrown about in here at some posters over the past couple of weeks over the inevitability of this move...which lo and behold looks like it's about to not happen. So I'm not sure that anyone can be sure of anything at all to be fair. You never know what's going to happen in football.
True but some are carrying on that there’s like a 10% chance he goes to a rival next season and while no one knows I can’t get on board with those kind of risk assessments.

Well, I think if his concern is simply the record then he stays with us.

i don’t believe we are in a position where we get massively outbid on wages by many rival PL clubs so not sure money will Come into it. DL will offer a package that goes a long way to compensating him for not leaving on a free (as per some of the ITK)

That then leaves likelihood of trophies. City very unlikely to take him in a year.
And no other club offers a risk free chance of a trophy. Cup competitions are just too unpredictable. So I don’t believe he leaves what he has with us for Utd, or Liverpool. I don’t believe he goes to Gooners or Chavs for obvious reasons.

It’s more likely he goes to a PL club mate tbf. That’s assuming he doesn’t stay with us. Family is settled here, a young family at that. He also has the chance to still beat Shearers record and also get a juicy pay rise. The only club he ‘might’ go to if it has to be abroad is Madrid as the pull of that club is huge. 🧅 🧅

Personally i think this is a good situation. If he goes, he goes, he wanted to leave. If he stays, it isn't because we forced him to.
