However……..I can just see now the slow March to the proposed targets we’ve heard about in the event Kane leaves. Then an inevitable “club x knew we had money and tried to take advantage so we didn’t get it done”

Followed by Richy injury and our season over before it has begun

It’s pretty obvious that there are plenty of people ready to give Levy abuse if Kane goes for free (not me, I care more about having the best team possible in 23/24 so he really is in a no win situation.

All too predictable, yet at this point we shouldn’t be surprised any club knows we have money. We’re the 9th richest club in the world! Kane’s sale is yet more money on the endless pile we have!

That’s different though … if a Marketing dept starts hedging I can understand, but for people on Twitter to flag this as ‘news’ implies something that isn’t there. He may stay, he may go, but we aren’t going to find out via banners on the club shop

I'm just responding to the idea of whether they would have to change the website/images etc when a player is potentially leaving - he did (and just showed him this too and he said as much).

He's been sold three times and signed two contract extentions. Currently Bayern have his left leg and both arms, but we've still got his right leg and his head.

Hard to imagine/accept that on the first day of the season we sell one of the very best we’ve ever had. You just couldn’t write how they run this club.
