Can't see him leaving, tbh.Kalvin Phillips

He’d be my preference, him or ward-prowse, but not sure how feasible.Kalvin Phillips

Right bid comes in he can go in January. Hes not being pushed and he's not alone.
The problem is, I can't think of a single realistic option really. Chelsea wouldn't sell us Barkley or RLC, can Phillips play an 8 role? Are JWP and Will Hughes etc in the right mould in terms of their physicality? Bellingham stands out but he'd obviously cost us a small fortune now. The same would apply to Rice (also same question as Phillips) and Aaron Ramsey wages wise.Replacing both Winks and Dele with one hg player of high quality would be a winner if he was off required quality. Would have to be someone good enough to displace Sissoko too.
As we heard in the summer how worried he was with our hojberg signing he has the mentality of a flea, instead of knuckling down he wants to bail out. We can easily get 20million plus for him as hes HG he offer nothing and needs to leave so we can get a better replacement in

Could we not just call up George Marsh, Whiteman and Georgiou for the rest of the season to balance the numbers?Name the better replacement because he has to be homegrown. Or we will have to also sell on another non HG player for the new player to make the squad. Any homegrown player better than winks is going to cost more than our record signing N'Dombele.

I imagine if Sanchez moves on then Rodon gets his EL spot anyway, so probably wouldn’t work. The problem is, I can't think of a single realistic option really. It's also probably too early for White and especially Devine.
Perhaps there's some indirect things we could do, for example selling Sanchez and letting Fagan-Walcott be the 5th choice CB. But I can't see anyone coming up to half what we paid for him at the moment.
Not HG and wouldn’t count as u21 for I think 2 years either.Eduardo Camavinga
We're in trouble if those three are out and Winks has to play anyways.Thats not the worry. Its the thought that the squad could lack quality in depth. We can not register anymore Non HGs in the EL unless we sell.
And if we sell Winks we could be in trouble if Hojbjerg or/and Sissoko and Gio are out. Thats not a risk we should take.
We definitley should send back Gedson and probably look at offers for Davinson if there are any in winter.
I'd take that, but surely not possible unless we sold Sanchez and cancelled Gedson's loan?Maybe bringing in Sami Khedira for 6 months with an option to extend could be something and consider not registering him for EL if there are no spots free. Hard to define a helping HG player who is available in January, especially as there should be a spot for Skipp next season.
Actual quotes by Khedira:
Roughly translated:
"Playing in the Premier League would be an honour to me, it is a big dream. I really enjoyed working with Jose Mourinho, but there are many managers I'd like to work with."
I rate Ward-Prowse too, and would be good to have someone of his set-piece ability on the pitch. Don't think Southampton would let us buy the captain who replaced their previous captain though! He’d be my preference, him or ward-prowse, but not sure how feasible.
Given how little Gedson has featured, he surely will be looking to end his loan and get playing time back at Benfica or elsewhereI'd take that, but surely not possible unless we sold Sanchez and cancelled Gedson's loan?
