I can't stand him.. look at this on the second goal. Check out where Dele starts and finishes in comparison to Winks.

Winks literally doesn't take a step in the direction of the ball. He just jogs horizontally across the pitch.

I find it astonishing we're not ring fencing Ndombele in the team.

It's obvious we need fresh blood all over the team. If it means selling Kane and Son to generate funds to get this done we'd be mugs not to do it.

We also need to shift a ton of players imo
Dier> not good enough
Lloris > we can get decent money still
Aurier >times up
Toby> past his best a long time ago
Rose > times up
Moura > pointless Bergwijn better imo
Gazza > times up
Hart > why did we do it
Lamela >times up
Winks> not good enough
Sissoko >times up
Davies> Reguilon and Sessengon
Kane > its never a good thing when a player is bigger than the club and wants out.
Son > inconsistent not signed the contract
Bale > not worth the money
Sanchez > I personally like him but I feel he won't be given anymore time.
Vinicius > waste of time
----------

Ndombele
Lo Celso
Hojbjerg
Reguilon
Rodon
Dele
Bergwijn
Skipp
Scarlet
Sessengon
Tanganga > play him at CB.

-----
Max Aarons
LCB
2 GK
Ben White
Dybala
Sabitzer
2 strikers
Brooks

Manager Flick, Farke, Potter (not totally impressed with Potter but that's our level now)

I was there last night and watched him quite closely.

He's happy to accept the ball under no pressure off the centre halves and give it back but whenever someone needed an option, he hid.

He made no angles to receive the ball, he didn't once give & go and barring one run in the first 10 mins, he didn't attempt to carry the ball.

Good midfielders are constantly on the move.

This guy's heatmap would be a red centre circle.

He is, as what's known in the game, a cheat.

He just sucks. One of my biggest fears is whoever the new coach is will give Winks and a few others a fresh start and we’ll be subjected to another 12 months of his cowardice. He’s split opinion this season but surely now most of the fanbase can see what a detriment he is. I understand he’s homegrown and he showed some promise as a youngster. But thats long gone now. The all-action, home-town boy, has games in the palm of his hand midfielder that people wanted him to become is now a fantasy. Time to move on.

And I can handle limited players being in the squad. So long as they’re honest, work hard and are good, positive influences on their teammates. But when you’re limited and have a horrible, entitled, whiny, weak, cowardly mind-set like Winks has, then you are pure dead-weight and need to be removed from the squad ASAP. Hoping that he’s not the only Harry that may have played their last home game last night.

Sadly just a nothing player, when combined with PEH and Dele then you have a midfield devoid of any ability to control play with The ball and are basically as much use as statues without the ball. If we could get anything over 10m for this guy we should grab it.

This is spot on! I did exactly the same and saw exactly what you mention above. He’s a fucking coward. I watched Mason Mount the other night against Leicester and he constantly wanted the ball and was always on the move to try to hunt it down. This guy was literally strolling into positions behind villa players to avoid receiving the ball.

Get rid

That's harsh, did you not see his insta post where he half volleys a tea bag into a cup from all of 2 metres?

That was the edited version

The full version shows he passed the tea bag back and side ways to himself 17 times before the half volley

And it took 3084 takes to get it in the cup

Not quite, but he certainly wasn't busy at all compared to PEH. That said the stats don't show up Winks' as they are comparable to PEH' but we know through using our eyes just how limited he is. What the stats do tell us are what we know already and that is that neither Winks and PEH should be played in the same midfield, as they offer nothing in terms of support for attacking phases. They merely recycle possession. Their individual stats also tell us that they were overrun losing the ball a combined total of 25 times and unable to provide any assistance in terms of key passes.

The heat map of Winks tells me that he didn't fulfill the criteria of his role either. Glaring gaps in the centre, as well as his flank, unprotected. In essence winks, performance was expected seeing we know historically what he does. The Vila half is almost devoid of any adventure from Winks.

Edit - This was Gio's heat map from the Wolves game. It doesn't tell us anything outstanding, but it highlights the absolute need for a midfielder that can do his share in the middle and yet have an influence further up the pitch.

Isn't it soul destroying how many people love the game so much that they spend their time and money just to sit in the cold and watch matches - yet there are lads who actually get to play professional football and, for a bigger fact - for Tottenham Hotspur - and yet they do nothing with that opportunity.

It's criminal, imo. Even worse, England are going to a tournament and he obviously doesn't want to be part of that either.

Off you fuck to Bournemouth (no offence Cherries, but you love a shite English player)

Contract till 2024. If we can't sell him this summer, a year long loan would be the best move for all parties. Winks can go to a team that can guarantee him minutes and maybe the allure of starting more games will convince him that leaving Spurs is the best long-term move for his career.

Nice stats. But even GLC's 15 lost ball still too much for a CM, and backs up my view that we need players who can withstand a press in CM.

I hate agreeing with negos and doomsayers. But in this case I do. We should accept any money we can for Winks and upgrade. Sorry Harry, your time has come.

Has Harry Winks done any interviews calling on Levy to sell him, by any chance?

If not, why not?
