Fair enough. I think you're probably right that most people don't think he's good enough.

I do. I think if you're looking to strangle a team by controlling posession then he's an asset. That's likely to happen in the UCL so he'll be worth a squad place.

For whatever reason he looked really comfortable last week for the first time in years. It's worth seeing if Nuno can whisper him back to the player he once promised to be.

I disagree. I think he's garbage and poor at pretty much every aspect of what a CM should be doing. When I compare him to other midfielders we should have been going for, Im flabbergasted we are still even considering him as an option to be playing in games. Hes not skilful, passing is very poor, not strong in the tackle, doesnt score much and his shooting is woeful (accidental crosses aside)

I suspect that he'd have been cast aside a long time ago if he wasnt homegown.

If he grows Traore muscles we might not need Adama after all. Adarry Winkse on the RW wreaking havoc.

He’s here for at least another half of the season, might as well support the fella. He will play an important role for us, I’m sure. At the very least we should all hope he performs to give himself more value/appeal to other clubs.

I’ve been an asshole about Doherty, and same goes for him. I’m sure he will be relieved to know some 30-something on SpursCommunity that is named after a fictional cartoon character is giving him a reprieve.

caring how people rate your posts is childish, in my opinion.
I always find it funny when people get upset about it.

edit: lol @slartibartfast
Me too. I don't normally bother unless it's a positive rating. Seems weird to neg a fellow fan. Just say what you've got to say.

Having just watched the Sarr video in his thread, Winks will be moving further down the pecking order when he arrives.

He’d have been cast aside ages ago if it wasn’t for the fact of how good he once was

A bit like Dele!!

Both need(ed) moving on

Finally found something Winks is half decent at..... shame the game isn't just trapping the ball ?

Is there a ‘holding’ midfielder in world football who is worse at defending than this clown?

You’d be able to defend it if he could pass, or dribble, or create... Or do anything really. But he can’t.

His continued presence in our team is the sign of everything that is wrong with the club right now.
