As a spurs fan in Australia, we get a lot of information about transfer fees and even player wages. However we dont get much info on coaching wages and money spent within the club.

Would anyone know what Mauricio is on? And also what we spend on coaching, scouting, player development and the like?

I am just interested as i think Poch (and his entourage) is the most important part of our club. I know we cant afford to match a lot of other clubs in transfer fees and wages but would love to know if we can compete in other areas.

Thanks in advance.

Poch is reportedly on £5.5m per year, but I'm guessing this is quite heavily incentivised.
The problem is that we don't have to officially announce anything, so what you read in the papers could be miles from the truth.

Fact is we can't really compete when Pep and Jose etc are on well over £10m per year, Wenger earns close to that as well, and I wouldn't imagine Conte,Klopp etc are too far behind either.

Again, this I think is only a base figure. Most if not all managers have bonus depending on performances and league/cup finish. and also some could have clauses to do with players transfer fees, like Harry did at Pompey.
How on earth does Mark Hughes end up earning £900k a year?! Why does he keep getting jobs in the premiership, surely there are better alternatives?

Forget that, how do you agree to pay Tony Pulis £3m a year?????? WTF

With Blackburn he had three top 10 finishes (including a 6th)
Led Fulham to 8th and qualified for Europa League
Kept QPR up
Finished 9th three seasons running at Stoke
Never been relegated from the Premier league having managed five clubs, and usually finishes top 10
Whether you like him or not - he's a good manager...... that's why he keeps getting jobs in the Premier League.

With 3 consecutive 9th place finishes since he took over I think Stoke are getting a pretty good deal out of him for that!

Its funny to look at that Express gallery. No matter how annoyed the gooners get by Wenger, he'll stay until he gets sacked as he's absolutely cleaning up these days with no real pressure to win anything.

He keeps teams up year after year. Considering how much it's worth just to be in the premier league, he is an absolute bargain to what was a yo-yo team.

Agree Pulis is a bargain....but this is WBA's 7th straight season in the Premier League - bit harsh to call them a yo-yo team.

Pulis is really a wizard with teams on my tight budget. He is a bit like Arry. Focusing on defense, and having a big man upfront to win the ball and hold on to it till support from the wings arrive.

No fuss, every player has a main task and sticks to it.

He always flies under the raydar. Less media pressure... Would love to see him in a better club thou.

Yes, I guess he's just one of those people I have an irrational hatred of for no real reason. Just like Alan Shearer. Or the bloke who sits next to me at work

Yep, but Pulis hasn't steadied the ship....he's only been there 18 months....the club was established for years in the Prem before he arrived.

Hence WAS a yoyo team not is. Any team like West Brom, Palace, Stoke, Sunderland, Bournemouth etc will have a goal of not going down and feasibly they are all in the mix to do that. Having someone like Pulis who knows what it takes its obviously worth the money to them.
