Personally I'm pretty content. Say 9/10
One for the future, a bit of tidying up, sensible loans, Dembele tied up,
12million banked, no disruption to the the squad.

Chadli and Son ready to support Harry or cover if he gets injured
and plenty of goals from midfield.
No panic at centre half.

Powder dry, team playing well. What's not to like?

To be honest I would have liked another striker obviously but overall I am happy and think we have enough depth to push on

In an ideal world we would've signed a striker, but I'm more than happy to wait until the summer if that means we'll get a more suitable candidate. I think we're better off without Berahino and his attitude.

I think in an ideal window we'd all have liked another striker.

Personally I'd also have liked another player who can play defensive midfield as I don't think any of our other midfielders can do that role, and with Verts out and Fazio and Veljkovic gone, Dier is now closer to having to play centre back.

But both would have been back up players which is hard to sell to potential targets, and I just don't think there's that much talent out there for sensible fees in January.

I'm disappointed we didn't get Dembele, but no point if we weren't going to get him for the next 5 months, and I do wonder whether Austin might have been a low-risk deal, but I can only assume Poch wasn't interested.

We've only lost players who weren't involved in the squad anyway, so we're in no way weaker, and the existing squad has done magnificently so far this season so why not just let them get on with it?

Did we tie this one up? I must have missed that...great if we did.

I think I'm with the majority in that it would have been nice to get a striker in (a bit of insurance maybe). I would have been happy with SB. I'm also fairly relaxed by not signing anyone...I think our squad can cope with the number of games and I'm sure Poch will manage the team accordingly.

Would've been good to get an extra body in at the front, but I'm not that bothered. We're so strong as a unit, more than we've been in many years, so I'm pretty content.

Oh, and we have Poch.

We are where we are and we carry on. That's how I see it.

I actually quite like the fact that even though we can afford players we are no longer paying over the odds and happy to let deals collapse. Saido Berahino has a lot of potential but he is no where near the ridiculous amount they want for him and we won't pay it. They had their offer and they said no and we moved on.

Same with Dembele. The deal only happens if we take him now and they wanted him back on loan. We were happy to say it's our way or no way and so it collapsed.

All that matters now is Norwich tonight :)
