This must have always been happening you would have thought in prep for world cup. Would have been part of the deal when he moved to seattle, not necessarily to Fulham but to anyone although I note the pathetic term of 2 months. That would be totally useless for his world cup hopes. I wonder why he cannot stay for longer. Doesn't make much sense as you'd think he's a better prospect for them than anyone they might sign in the Jan window. Maybe he'll go on loan elsewhere.

I'd have him back over Sigurdsson, Chadli or Lamela for the rest of the season.

All 3 of those been poor this season so far and whilst they are young enough the settle Dempsey wouldn't need to with his experience and he'll chip in with a few goals

Isn't it only 2 months because the MLS season starts back up again in March, so he'll be back playing for Seattle by then? Pretty sure Beckham used to go on temporary loans each January too, for the same reason.

You've got to wonder why a world cup player would sign for an MLS team to start with. He is good enough to play for a number of clubs in the prem and if he did that he would be twice the player in the world cup to what he will now be.

Money talks. He's also a hero over in the US, so that's got to have been a big influence on his decision too. Beckham also signed for an MLS side when there were still plenty of big clubs in Europe who would've loved to have signed him.

LOL, Becks was a celebrity with a celebrity wife. Moving to LA was simply a logical progression in his celebrity life!
