Anyone know or been posted/mooted elsewhere how long Crouch, Modric and Gomes are out for?

I know two are groins and Crouch back but I haven't seen Redknapp say how long they think. Thanks.

The OS suggested Modric had gone to play in these qualifiers...

Gomes expected back September
Modric only 'doubtful' for this weekend
Crouch isn't injured at all

That's according to the Fantasy Premier League statuses, so it's beyond reproach.

For me

Giovani....Huddlestone....Modric....Bale
VDV
With Kaboul at right back.

Gio was good in pre-season and probably should've been carried over to the League anyway. Same with Keane really. Keep the momentum. But that is possibly lost now :-(

Alot of trickery but not sure there is enough pace in that midfield. Always nice to have someone who can bomb with the ball. I almost said jenas then but then i slapped myself out of it.

Bale at left back could assist but you cant always rely on him the whole match.

Lennon seeing a surgeon could explain why he's not been as fast as he was since his last injury. Just hope they can get him to his devasting best.

Lennon out could give Gio a real chance a hitting some form, which if he does could put him up at the same level of player as Lennon IMO.

It's not ideal, but could work out well for us.

I still think he has been pretty rapid, see Bale's goal at Burnley. Not sure if he has lost pace really, but then there is still a whole lot more to his game.

Don't understand Kendall. Ready-made replacement for Lennon in GDS who was good in pre-season and is probably raring to go.....why does that mean move our best CM to the left and (presumably) move our superb on-form LW to LB and drop our best LB ?

Or would you do that if Lennon was fit anyway ?

Modric is not supposed to play today, but should play on Tuesday vs Greece, so he'll be OK for next round of PL (in respect to current injury).

But Kaboul is a naff right back :-(

One decent run against City does not maketh a right back. He looked super dodgy against Arsenal and Chelsea and was the worst player on the pitch against Wigan.

Expect Crouch to make a miraculous return from his 'injury' after the internationals.

Think Harry found that back complaint quite a convenient way of giving him a weeks rest and a chance to get his head together.

He's played a few good games there. I agree he isn't a right back, but I just think it's better to have a quicker overlapping fullback with Gio on the right. Just to give us more width on that side. Kaboul has a good cross on him too. West Brom don't handle crosses too well. Especially with the never reliable Scott Carson in goal.
