The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder will see a specialist later this week to assess whether he needs to have an operation. He has not, contrary to suggestions, been frozen out of the squad by England manager Fabio Capello.
Well that's Modric on the right thenWTF Lennon needs an operation?

and drop our best LB ?
He's played a few good games there. I agree he isn't a right back, but I just think it's better to have a quicker overlapping fullback with Gio on the right. Just to give us more width on that side. Kaboul has a good cross on him too. West Brom don't handle crosses too well. Especially with the never reliable Scott Carson in goal. But Kaboul is a naff right back :-(
One decent run against City does not maketh a right back. He looked super dodgy against Arsenal and Chelsea and was the worst player on the pitch against Wigan.
