Think our next couple of windows are more about the 'outs' than the 'ins'. There are a number of players that need to be moved on for a number of reasons.

Gazzaniga - never going to play and takes a non HG spot.

Aurier & Doherty - personally would be open for Serge staying as I think he has improved massively but I think we need a first choice RB and I want Tanganga to get minutes at RB to aid his development. Doherty I just don't rate highly enough.

Sanchez - it's a choice between Dier or Sanchez for me, Toby and Rodon balance out nicely for me in terms of as Toby gets older Rodon gets more of his minutes. Prefer Eric to Davinson so would move on Sanchez.

Winks, Sissoko & Dele - Dele for me needs to move, I think we may currently be over rating him as he is out of the team. I don't see him getting back into a regular starting position at the team. Winks is a hard one, love that he is a Spurs boy but I just don't think he is good enough for what we need. Sissoko, again love him but doesn't meet the quality we need with the ball.

Lamela & Bale - don't renew the Bale loan, Lamela is never available for long enough to be relied upon.

Targets

Celik or Aarons?
Todiba or Ben White?
Sabitizer
Anguissa or Phillips?
Zaha or Neto?
Vinicius
Bring Skipp back into squad

I know some people will be listing Davies and Moura but for me they stay until Sess and Clarke return and I would loan them both again next season as I think they will benefit more from playing regularly, would also like Troy, White & Cirkin to get loan moves.

Lloris/Hart/Whiteman
New RB/Tanganga
Toby/Dier/Rodon/New CB
Reguillon/Davies
PEH/Ndombele/GLC/Skipp/Sabitizer/New CM
Son/Stevie/Lucas/New WF
Kane/Vinicius

Will need to bring one HG player in amongst the incomings to balance squad registration rules, I would personally go for Zaha and the non homegrown options in the other positions.

Some utterly bizarre lists in here - get rid of Doherty already? Madness to even suggest it.

Out - Winks (regrettably but it's likely to happen), Dele (same), Sanchez and Gazzaniga

In - Don't know who but what we need is a top quality centre back and an athletic and skillful box to box midfielder.

Out: half the first team squad if we can - gotta save/make some cash! Especially on wages.

In: 2-3 first team signings, along with a wheel & deal here and a free transfer there...plus the return of young players like Skipp and Sess. A few other young players like Clarke, White, Cirkin can be moved up to fill out the squad.

Summer
Out -
Sissoko - Great engine and worker for the team but does not have the quality on the ball we need
Sanchez - Prone to an error and not good enough on the ball.. Rondon replaces him..
Lamela - Does not give us enough minutes and ultimately does not have the vision and consistent quality needed
Doherty - Has not shown the attacking ability expected, lacks pace and skill going forward and defensively quite poor
Gedson - Not quite good enough for us
Bale - So hard to say but he has show virtually nothing to even earn a place on the bench.
Gazzaniga - Not homegrown
Aurier - Allow him to leave if we can get a top RB/Wing Back and Tanganga as backup

Winks - stays as one of our own deserves more time
Lucas - stays as good option off the bench
Alli - loan until Jose leaves has quality
Dier - give him one more season to improve

Out
Sanchez
Winks
Doherty
Aurier
Toby
Alli
Lamela
Lloris

Trouble is I doubt we would be able to shift the majority of them. The squad needs a decent overhaul.

In:

CB: Skriniar (Alternatively Botman or Milinkovic who could also play RB)
RB: Celik
CM: Neuhaus
AM/RW role: Sabitzer - seems that he can play anywhere but feel with our style I'd be happy if he was the signing we made for that RW role and we can rotate between him, Lo Celso and Bergwijn for the AM/RW spot.
Striker: Ings

Out:

Gazzaniga
Sanchez
Doherty
Lamela
Moura
Winks

Don't renew:
Vinicius - this one makes me sad as I think he could come good but I just don't see him getting the chance to do so.

If we were going big guns on the outs I'd also get rid of either Dier or Davies because I'm sick of the HG fuckuppery they cause for little value.

In true knee jerky fashion.

Out:

Gazzaniga
Hart
Toby
Dier
Sanchez
Aurier
Doherty
Rose

Winks
Sissoko
Lamela
Moura

I would also be against resigning Bale, Vinny or Fernandes

Thats 15 players right there.

I'll do my ins later. Or ill wait until Jose's inevitable departure.

Would love Ibrahim Sangare.

Yes another DM type, but certainly can break the lines with his passing.

If we can't get that top CB Mourinho craves, I reckon Sangare and Holjberg would be a pretty decent shield for our defence.

He'd certainly suit our counter attacking game. Able to dive forward, or a quick pass out to the flanks.

Wouldn't get to wrapped up in the fact that he's classed as a DM. So much more to his game than tackles. Great reader of the game, brilliant in regards to interceptions, and shock, horror, actually looks to play quick forward passes, or runs forward.

Recently moved to the Eredivisie where he has continued his impressive displays. He'd certainly add more bite in midfield, but with passing ability also.

Think there were supposedly a few prem clubs interested last season. Spurs mentioned as well if I recall.

Firstly, this only happens if Levy is prepared to sell for less than his usual demands. We've had a bloated squad for a while now and a lot comes down to the man at the top not taking the hit to get rid of players on the cheap.

Strap in guys, this is going to get messy. I can already feel my reputation bar groaning under the weight of the negative ratings.

Out
-------------
Gazzaniga - £5m - Always seemed a weird choice for a third keeper, but he's done alright over the years.
Aurier - £15m - RB is still an area of weakness and he's had long enough to nail it down.
Sanchez - £25m - We need a new first choice senior centre back. Sanchez hasn't really kicked on after that first season sadly.
Foyth - £15m - As with Sanchez, he's just not improved enough.
Toby - Free - Thanks for the years of service. I hope he gets to go back to Ajax or wherever he wants.
Sissoko - £2-5m - Realistically he won't go anywhere. He's the wrong side of 30 and under contract for another two years (why Levy why?). If anyone offers anything for him I'd be surprised.
Winks - £25m - HG so that inflates his worth a bit, we need to trim the squad and re-invest in quality. Sad that he never kicked on, but there you go.
Dele - £45m - This one is already written on the walls. Sad to see him go in all honesty. I do wonder whether all of this will ignite something within him or not. When he gets to wherever he's going Jose will either be proven right or wrong. All I know is that everyone on SC will be right in their opinion of him.
Moura - £10m - Maybe if we are lucky?? He's too hit and miss with his appearances to warrant a place in the first team.
Lamela - £10m - Again, we'll struggle to find anyone willing to pay even this for him with his constant injuries. That however is why I think we need to let him go.
Kane - £120m - Yeah, I said it and you all hate me. He's going to want to go, someone like City will want to buy so I'm going to work this sale into my post. Yes no-one comes close to him and I don't know how we'll cope, but I've seen the heart ripped out of my club over and over since I was 7 and we are still going.
Bale - loan return
Gedson - loan return

Total - £250-270m

In
--------
Daka - £60m - Young, powerful, fast and a goalscorer. He's the type of player we should be going after but can't right now for financial reasons. As a bonus he can play off of the right flank or as a front man in his own right.
Vinicius - £18m - I think we should take out the buy option on him this year. Personally, I think he'll be fine if given a chance.
Sabitzer - £30m - Maybe we could get him for cheaper as he's on the last year of his contract, but if we want to get shit done early then this offer should get him. He's a leader, creative, combatitive and able to play multiple roles.
Skriniar - £60m - We need someone senior to walk right into our defence and command it. We've shown a strong interest already and I think he's Jose's man (even if we sack off Jose in the next 18 months he's still a good defender).
Dean Henderson (or another) - £35m - We need to start thinking about our new #1 once Lloris goes (next summer likely). So imo we buy that player this summer and gradually intergrate them. I'll honestly defer to those that know better on GK's, maybe we go for someone else, but we need to buy that player this summer.
Marcus Edwards - £25m - HG quota. I personally wish we'd persisted with him instead of buying Jack Clarke.
New RB- £Whatever is left - No idea who would fit us best, but we would have around £30m to spend.

Total - £250-260m ish

With Skipp and Sessegnon returning we would have a 22 man squad, much slimmer than we currently have. Even with the European rules on the Welsh guys, we are still fine with regards to our foreign player limit.

It’s a sad indictment of our current squad when I can count on one hand the players I’d be disappointed to see leave:-

Kane
Son
Ndombele
Hojbjerg
Reguillon

(I’m not including young players like Rodon, Tanganga, Skipp, Scarlett, Devine - I’m talking established squad players)
