If rumours are true they might end up with poch.If that deal goes ahead ... The longer it drags.
Is that if the ownership changes? If rumours are true they might end up with poch.
Makes sense we're targeting PEH then, buy the best from those around you ...There is now so much wrong that you know it can't possibly be a quick fix and the prospect of next season is very concerning,, given our inevitable lack of worthwhile transfer activity in the summer.
JM can't be totally blamed for the situation but ,what is clear, is that he is not the man to put things right. I think we will probably stick with him, have a dreadful start to next season and be forced to make a change before Christmas. I think the league will only get harder next season and am more concerned by the clubs below us at the moment. Southampton seem to have joined the growing list of them who look far better than us now.
Everyone talking about "we need a rebuild"...This is nothing new! We ARE having a rebuild. Poch said it, JM said it.
That's what we're doing now. As much as I hated watching that turgid stuff JM has started with the problem areas. Defence!
No one can argue our defence has not looked more solid. Hopefully, as things progress so will other parts of our game
YesIs that if the ownership changes?
He'll be sorted then. There's a starting 11 (almost) ready made dotted about the various teams in the premier with links to him and our scouting department. He'll win it all.
It’s not hard to solidify a defence if you sacrifice any semblance of attacking impetus. Really, Pulis, Allardyce, Moyes, this is what these guys do. Meat and potatoes management and Jose is trying to sell us magic beans like he’s working a miracle at the moment. It’s horseshit.Everyone talking about "we need a rebuild"...This is nothing new! Good for himHe'll be sorted then. There's a starting 11 (almost) ready made dotted about the various teams in the premier with links to him and our scouting department. He'll win it all.
Big player overhaul needed.
Players to keep after 2 year rebuild: Lloris, Gazzaniga, Sanchez, Tanganga, Cirkin, Skipp, Ndombele, Winks, Lo Celso, Sessegnon, Bergwijn, Son, Kane
Maybe players: Toby, Foyth, Lucas, Gedson, Davies, Jack Clarke
Players to go (not good enough or worth more in fees than performance): Jan, Lamela, Vorm, Dier, Sissoko, Alli, Aurier, KWP, CCV, Rose
First team signings needed over next two years: Rb, Cb, Lb, Dm, Wf, Cf
Right back and Dm priorities. Then Cf and Cb.
Most importantly for the culture, we need to get rid of the considerable deadwood. There’s at least 115m in fees to be recouped there. That’s enough to bring in the 4 key positions required.
yeah, they fired Mourinho.Football moves quickly. Only 12 months ago United were a joke, Woodward incompetent, Ole a foolish pick, and now they’re playing flowing football and have one of the most exciting young forward lines in Europe.
So, it’s possible to turn things around. But United had money to spend on Maguire and Fernandes, and they had a plan. Build a young English spine, play with extreme pace on the counter.
At the moment we don’t seem to have any vision or plan, and it doesn’t seem that we have any money to spend, so it looks a long, long way back.
