Oh it's true that the north think less of a the south but that goes both ways. The regional diolects play a big hand as well I find. Neapolitan is almost a completely different language and they are very proud of it. The worst I have ever seen it is in Sicily regarding there thoughts on race. I found it was most liberal (although not enough) in Milan and Turin. But I don't question your experiences, I can only speak of my own. Anyway, as said, that is another conversation for a different thread. And as I said, all the ultras I have met from any club have all the same horrendous views on Race.Harsh on the south IMO. I've spent a lot of time in Italy in my life and even lived there for a while, and I'd say there's just as much racism in the north as there is in the south. The northerners are even "racist" about southern Italians. I've had multiple conversations with northerners along the lines of how they consider southern Italians to be more closely related to Africans and therefore monkeys than they are related to someone from Lombardy, Veneto etc. Actually on reflection I'd go as far as to say I've personally experienced more racist attitudes in the north than I have in the south.
