I'll have to respectfully disagree with you there... 33 goals in 45 games this season. If thats average then I hate to think just HOW shit you think all our forwards are. We're not getting him though, no chance, so it doesn't really matter.

Great player - far superior to his national teammate Suarez IMO.

However we didn't take a punt last summer when we were offered him and Kjaer for a 1/2 the price that Cavani alone will command this summer.

He is one of, if not the best player in Serie A atm (I'd put only Pastore ahead of him excluding Inter and Milan). 33 goals in 45 games. Honestly in not even the most high scoring of leagues....He would suit the PL loads as well. Not that he is going to spurs

Cavani is a beast. Strong, good finisher with either foot, not lightning quick but quick enough. He is hungry for goals, scores tap ins, headers, long rangers, important goals. He has it all.

Has scored the most goals in a single season in Napoli's history. Only 24 as well.

Not sure about this idea that they won't come without CL, nobody came last year and we did have CL so following that logic nobody will ever come to this club ever again, it's not like we're buying from barca is it.
Seems to me they went to Liverpool and Man City and they didn't have CL.

Cavani is an incredible striker and would be perfect for us, but I think that Napoli have already agreed a price and the player has agreed to move this summer, so I really don't see how this would happen.
