Great, Grealish is passed out drunk again...
Great, Grealish is passed out drunk again...
Even their statements are boring.
This?
I think if we get him he'll be a great signing for Spurs immediate and long term. What I like about Grealish is his tight control and dribbling abilities we have superb options in Dembele Moura Lamela Grealish (Alli can also do it) all great transition players in tight packed spaces.
Given the agent situation and the comments from ITKs, I'm pretty sure Grealish will join Spurs at some stage this summer, with just one possible complication.
That wildcard is a sale to a new owner who thinks somehow, impossible as it seems, they can kick the can on Villa's catastrophic cashflow and budgetary situations long enough down the line to keep Grealish.
But even in that scenario, I suspect from the noises we've heard that Grealish has set his heart on joining the Spurs England contingent, and would not be prepared to spend another season in a league that he's now far too good for. Even allowing for Villa being his boyhood club.
Agree with everything apart from the bit about Alli having tight control and dribbling ability. That's not his game imo- he'd be better served trying to keep things simple and play to his strengths. Grealish is a quality dribbler and I hope Poch can turn him into a quality option for us.
Maybe another stumbling block could be Villa setting his fee far too high.
I know they need the wedge, but I'm sure they'll be after top dollar for their prized asset.
Suppose it depends what other options are available to them.
When you can't afford to pay the wages or bring players in, why would you require a DOF. Expect more staff to go very soon.
And can you play centre back? Can’t be any worse than the last fella.Weirdly they are advertising for a lot of positions on LinkedIn. Keep popping up on my “suggested roles”.
