The Tottenham players who lost to Mura in the Europa Conference were given a huge dressing down from manager Antonio Conte in the aftermath of the humiliation.

even though the manager himself said in the Press Conference after the match that he usually waits until the day after to speak to his players after a tough result?

'Usually'.

I'd be surprised if Mr Conte could hold back after that shambles.

He Literally said after the game he didn't speak with them but in any event I'm tired of former players like Jamie O'hara saying the right things to look good but when it was their opportunity to give everything were culpable of many a night like Thursday themselves.

Speaking with them is different from shouting at them and telling them what a shite performance it was

O'Hara was never short of effort. Mainly he was short of pace.

conte himself wasn't that animated during the game - he surely wasn' t suddenly happy with their positioning, movement and effort, yet said little.

depressed as he looked after the game, it does make me wonder if he just gave them enough rope in this game to prove that their way does not work, and they need to sign up fully to the programme.
Also it gave a strong message to paratici that the squad lacks quality, which conte all but spelled out afterwards.

Jamie O has landed a prime role as a rentamouth that Harry Redknapp would die for. He will say whatever he needs to say if it gets the punters listening. He talks out of his arse. Not a bad gig if you can get it.

Just seen his sky sports reaction to the result with Leroy Rosenoir on Thursday.
Can’t disagree with anything he said to be honest. It’s reached the point when things will only improve at our club when certain people leave. I loved Dele but he didn’t even look like a professional footballer the other night.
Something is clearly not right behind the scenes with him - mentally he just can’t seem to focus. A change of scenery will probably do him good, but there can’t be too many willing takers at present.

If he didn’t go hard at them after that performance then you would have to assume he never goes hard because that was as bad as it gets.

If Jamie O'Hara said in the aftermath of the match he needn't have meant in the dressing room straight after the game. I think Conte himself said he doesn't go at them straight away so it's most likely true and he did it next morning.

This. Aftermath doesn't have a limited time span. He may have saved it for the next day at training but I don't see why it's a surprise, doesn't need to be so minutely scrutinized.

I also don't get why so many people are reading into everything Jamie O says like he's got some sort of vendetta, or that he's using his association with the club to say sensational things to get ratings. He's said nothing that isn't true about our performances and he definitely still has mates at the club, but what - is he supposed to politely refuse to talk about Spurs because he's a fan/used to play for us?

I'd rather they gagged Darren Bent, Jason Cundy (censor evasion? no? okay then...) or Jack "fun sponge" Wilshire when he graces the studio with his lack of presence. There are a lot of "characters" on there who need to have a look at themselves before I would point any fingers at Jamie, tbf.
