I really liked him when he was at man u but havent kept up with him since. Wouldn't he make a good rotation option?
Indeed. He's a good goal scorer, but a terrible striker. That's the Defoe paradox.
That's why you aren't a footballGoals are goals
11 league goals this past season, 1 CL goal and 1 cup goal. So 13 goals total not counting internationalsI really liked him when he was at man u but havent kept up with him since. Wouldn't he make a good rotation option?
That's your cue, Vincent JanssenThat's why you aren't a football
manager then. Defoe has always needed a target man to do his donkey work for him otherwise the opppstion defenders win the ball back too easily and his team is under constant pressure.

Give it a rest mate. He's just banged in plenty for Sunderland without a target man and in a dire team. Show the man some respect or don't mention him. That's why you aren't a football

I do respect him, as a man and a footballer. He's just not good enough to play for teams that want to win a lot of matches.Give it a rest mate. He's just banged in plenty for Sunderland without a target man and in a dire team. Show the man some respect or don't mention him.
Since he's a veteran he'd also hopefully be someone who can pass on his experience to guys like Janssen and Sterling as wellWould absolutely love Hernandez. Always been a fan of him.
Even though he missed a sitter against us he was always a nuisance and his work rate was brilliant.
No doubting his ability in the penalty box, he has brilliant awareness and his finishing is excellent and also deceptively quick. With his premier league experience and especially at that rumored price (£15m) I can understand Poch being interested.
He would be a great back up to Kane and even a better strike partner.
You love a good off side, do you?Would absolutely love Hernandez. Always been a fan of him.
.
I know he's quite old but if he's £13m then he could be worth a punt.Kaveh SolhekolVerified account@SkyKaveh 4m4 minutes ago
West Ham have held talks about signing ex Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez. Has £13 million release clause at Bayer Leverkusen
If Hernandez wants out of Leverkusen in part because of lack of European football you'd figure we'd win out if it came to us or West Ham.
Granted nothing is certain in this game
