Going to Dortmund it seems.
Going to Dortmund it seems.
We got one of England's best full backs that played in there U20 winning team our philosophy is giving our youth a chance especially the talented onesHe's an absolute bargain at that price. Germany's best player when they won the Euro U21s this summer .
We've got a quality young RB at the Club already. If we really feel we need another RB it makes sense that we go and buy the best one possible.€5m???
Why is it we dither around, quite often getting quoted stupid fees, then after we walk away, the same player goes for nominal fee.
Not just us, I think it's PL teams in general, there's a PL tax thrown on top of all enquiries.

Should have kept Walker then until we had actually signed a replacement. Most other clubs seem to go about this the logical way.
We on the other hand are looking more clueless and desperate by the minute.
Assume he was adjudged to be no better than KWP.
German players, like English ones, don't tend to travel much.Maybe he only had eyes for Dortmund? Hard to say why a transfer doesn't happen, doesn't sound like he was our first choice anyway.
Who's £13m? KWP cost nothing and Toljan would apparently be €5m.Not at 13M.

There's definitely a PL tax but German teams also tend to sell cheaply to each other - it's like they've created a totally seperate market. Also German players tend to stay in Germany so as soon as a German club becomes interested you can essentially count us out.€5m???
