His finishing will improve the more gets used to being in scoring positions. The thing he most has to improve is consistency, can he keep up this form.

Jenas is the perfect central midfield player for a team that wants to play at a high tempo.

He is made for a Ramos team.

jenas is getting more chances now to score then before, he has the belief that he can now go on and will get more chances to score goals and if he carrys on the way he has being playing he will start to score more

Jenas is great and much as I like O'Hara and Tainio as players I'd have loved it if we'd managed to get Diarra to partner him as they would've been a class pairing!

Really think JJ deserves a few songs, Hutton has been in the side 5 seconds and he had a chant today.

Good find, SS57 - thanks.

What a surprize that Jenas thought his game was going backwards under Souness....:rofl::rofl:

It's also interesting to get confirmation that the players effectively went though a second pre-season in November. There are genuine signs that JJ is beginning to develop into a top player under Ramos. But it's also good to see that he goes out of his way to show respect for Jol.

He was a bit slow coming on, but the conditions are right for him to have an excellent second half of the season and to continue to develop. Always liked Jenas, even with the bad haircuts. I think he is aware that he has a chance under Juande and he has resolved to take it.

As a past critic of Jenas it is only fair that I should give him praise when it's due. His game is improving and he is playing well at the moment. Ramos and his regime should be giving some credit but Jenas deserves his pat on the back. Lets all hope he can kick on from here and become a big, big player for us.

I slated him often, but he has been earning my respect. I'd like to see him score more consistently though, simply because I feel we need a midfielder who is a decent goal scoring threat. But he's improving and I think we'll see better things from him.
