Harry'll stick with Hudd... He has done all season, so I don't imagine him doing so, especially after today...

I was very tempted to say JJ, but Hudd really impressed me today. He's had a string of average performances lately. But he was superb today, and fully deserves to be in next weeks lineup.

I would go with jj but it will be hudd! the only thing is that villa are a counter-attacking team and don't really press you high up the pitch. We can win the game if we don't play into their hands and concentrate on keeping the ball.

I would rather we went toe to toe with them and see what happens! The spurs way!

harry knows his best team
and hudd will play with palacios with lennon and kranjaer on the wings
its the reason why we scored so many goals and create so many chances for our forwards. balance pace technique power
hudd has played every game , he is a first team player and on form he is the best option in the centre with palacios
kranjaer was superb today , hint of ginola about some of his play
and as for lennon , he is simply class
if only we played the scum today

Why Why why, would you change a team that has just won there previous game 9-1. That would be madness! Imagine the long term effect that would have on Huddlestone after the way he played. Also I only watched the highlights and listened to the commentary on the radio, but it seems Hudd and Lennon have some kind of telepathic connection, some of the passes hudd was putting into the right flank where sublime. It's the kind of service Lennon needs. If a player has a bad game then, with our current strong squad, yes they deserve to be dropped the next game but when they play aswell as they just have, then it's no brainer for me.

Wouldn't change the team at all. And to think we've got Jenas, Keane, Modric, King, Bassong who didn't play. Four of those were first teamers last season and yet without them we still romped to victory. What a great position to be in.

Yes Hudd is only good against crap teams. Like Liverpool. Hudd orchestrated things, but anybody could against those useless midfielders Mascherano and Gerrard.

The key to getting the best out of Huddlestone has nothing to do with the opposition. It has everything to do with who we play around him. At the beginning of the season when Lennon and Modric were both fit, Huddlestone was magnificent, because they are players who force opposition teams back, make them go deeper, giving Huddlestone more time and space. Lennon and Kranjcar did this brilliantly yesterday, so Huddlestone looked brilliant as well.

Injuries permitting, we must go with the same team/formation against Villa.

Keane, JJ, Bassong, Gio and, even, King and Modric will just need to bide their time.

Let Villa worry about us.....i'm sure they will be thinking how to deal with us.Leave it the same if possible. BAE and Palacios had slight knocks while Lennon played his first agme for a month and we need to see how he pulls up.

1) THudd has started EVERY game this season.
2) He played a brilliant game yesterday

Why on earth would he then not start the next?

Hudd. Played every game this season, for a team who are joint 3rd with Arsenal. Got to be Hudd.

Quite right. I said Hudd before the Wigan game and we won 9-1 so I see no reason to change.

Our record when we've played 442 with Hudd this season is even better than our position now

A good analyses of Huddlestone's game. But another factor is that in the few games Palacios has been slightly off, Thudd has looked less mobile. When Palacios covers the ground he normally covers (like yesterday), Thudd is not exposed at all.

To add abit to the discussion: I think Jenas is a very important player, a team player that has more drive box-to-box than the other alternatives CM. I expect him and Kranjcar (and to a lesser degree Bentley) to form the group of midfielder's that get a good amount of matches but not as many as the preferred 4. We will be in Europe next year, and both competitions offer plenty of games that will require us to have about 20 players that are good and match fit enough to slot right into the side every day of the week. Thus, while these players are not 1st-teamers at the moment, I hope they continue pushing the starters (and they are at the moment - just look and Kranjcar), and continue to play an important part for the club in years to come.

I'm ever so slightly euphoric today - what a game that was yesterday

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
