Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has called for the "circus" of Financial Fair Play to end after Manchester City's European ban was overturned.
Mourinho's anger is not directed at City, more at the powers who govern the rules, and he wants an end to the FFP system despite agreeing with it in principle.

I don't think FFP should be scrapped. I believe (could be wrong) that a lot of the things Man City were punished for dated back to a time when FFP hadn't been introduced which is obviously not on. However, moving forward I'd like to see FFP become more robust and attempt to get a lid on the problem of massive overspending and dodgy sponserships. If they can't do that the game is ruined for good IMO.

What Jose is really saying is City are Guilty the whole thing is a circus, there is no point in FFP if you let teams cheat the system with creative accounting, and how can you be innocent but pay a fine. He likes the idea but its pointless till the governing body grows some balls!
