I really wanted this to work but I've never been so bored watching us play, its horrendous.

Couple that with really poor results and you're on a hiding to nothing.

Simply not sustainable and not sure how he turns this around. But it's the football, its just so boring to watch.
Beyond boring. It's torturous watching us play. You're right it ain't sustainable even if he snags a cup or even two this season.

When you say something negative about Jose the pro Jose people come out to post in their droves which I suppose is a natural reaction to make when someone is having a go at someone you see as doing the best with what he has got . The only thing is the Jose ship is sinking faster than the Titanic and these people better abandon him quick or else they are doomed along with him .

You've got to give it to the guy, he certainly doesn't lack self belief haha! Would be nice if a few of our players had it too.

But still, nice words aren't going to save him now, we need action and we need it now.

Yeah. I stayed away from here last night and I had a lovely night instead of being irritated by the same shit, but here I am during the work day doing the same :ROFLMAO:

Was firmly behind Mourinho after his appointment but now I rarely even look at who we are playing or maybe a swift glance at the results.

Was going to say the same as the three posts above but they say it so much better than I can.

Missing the last season at WHL. :((

Like others have said...I am just so, so bored with Tottenham at the moment.

There is no joy. Watching us play is torture, win, draw or lose.

I have really started to stop caring about Spurs. That's how bad it is. I want this to end. Get this over. Please let's get to the next chapter. Let's get some joy and swagger back into the club

Phew that's a mighty statement he made - I'd call it delusion at this point, rather than self-belief.

Sounds to me like one of Jose not so subtle digs at his employers more than anything else.

It's like wake me up, remind me why I ever loved the game of football in the first place.

One point that I'm not sure has been brought up is that Levy probably trusts the view of Ledley quite a lot and Ledley couldn't be closer to the action. I wonder what his view is.

I personally was behind him too, that was grudgingly though. I felt that he could get a tune out of the team, but it has turned sour & though others on here will have you believe that it's the mentality of the players, that they don't give a shit & that they are the ones choosing to play this turgid & embarrassing excuse of a tactic themselves, it really is only on Jose.

Mourinho drains all the players confidence.

on all or nothing, he constantly reminds the players how good the other teams are, how tough it is going to be.

not once did I hear him talk us up.

I honestly believe that this constant negativity has drained our players of their confidence.

I supported him, hoping he would change the mentality of the club, which I think he did initially with his point about being c*nts.

however, the football is dire, is tactically defensive with no real attacking plan and it’s getting worse.

he’s now reverted to type of sniping at players and the press.

such a pity that he couldn’t just get us defending better whilst playing the way we did against west ham and utd.

Spot on.

He was a changed man he said when he joined. All relaxed smiles and blurbs about it being all about the players.

But we are who we are and he’s reverted to pointing fingers and not taking responsibility. It’s a shame because there’s no doubt that he’s got some amazing qualities but he can’t escape his personality.

Mourinho currently has the worst league record for a manager at Spurs since Juande Ramos. He currently has the exact same number of league losses and draws as AVB (he'd have to win his next 7 games in a row to match AVB's league record at the club)
