Can't blame players for being injured, groin injury is tough. Lebron is currently dealing with it in NBA and he isn't nailed to be ready every game and he's superhuman. Getting Luke Shaw vibes.

"He [Ndombele] is always injured," Mourinho told reporters following the defeat to Southampton.

"He is injured, he is not injured; he plays one match, the next week he is injured, he plays another match.

"We are full of hopes and this is since the beginning of the season.

"Of course it is a concern, you think you have a player, you think the player is in an evolution process, he plays very well against Norwich, you think today he is ready for it and he is not ready for it.

"I cannot say much more than that because it is a situation that comes from the beginning of the season."
Is that it? I was expecting a lot worse tbh.

This has really fucked me off. Ndombele’s got a FUCKING GROIN INJURY, of course playing him twice in 48 hours is a risk. Jose pressured him to play and should take a look at himself, yet he throws the player under the bus. He claims to have learned his lessons from his time at United but it’s clear he hasn’t, starts casting blame elsewhere for his own mistakes any time he’s under pressure. I don’t see this ending well at all.

The overreaction to those comments about a footballer who can't stay on the pitch for us ... Any manager who pays that kind of cash for a footballer not be able to count on him since pretty much the start of the season would be annoyed ...

As long as Levy blames the Managers the fans stay off his back.

This is showing that we can't keep blaming the manager.. The lack of on field ambition from our fearless leaders has put us in this mess. They hide behind the same excuse every transfer window... Funnily enough we barely ever hear the same excuses coming from the other premier league clubs.

You sure?

He could be protecting him by not playing him previously but he got all the sticks. What gives?

Funny seeing people agree or being OK with managers throwing players under the bus for being injured. It really worked a charm at United for him.

His quotes after the Brighton match basically amounted to questioning Ndombele’s character, despite the fact that again he’s suffering from a groin strain which is universally regarded as one of the trickiest injuries to recover fully from. Ndombele then plays twice in 48 hours and what do you know, tweaks his groin. It’s mismanagement and yet the player is being publicly demeaned for it.

you have just made that up ? How do you know any of this ? You don’t.

fact is that Ndombele has not been good enough for us to date since he signed . good touches and promises but has hardly played so should be available to play two games on the trot.

JM is literally playing a Sherwood-esque midfield partnership. Sissoko and Eriksen offer nothing in terms of defensive shielding and with our team leaking goals, why wouldn't he emphasize a midfield that looks to correct this? Granted our options are Skipp, Winks and Sissoko, why not then load the midfield with those three and have a solid-ish base to build from?

Throwing them under the bus? So he isn't injured then? LOL you're trying so hard for the first day of a new year, you'll blow a gasket by the end of the month, pace yourself.
