Afraid to give the young lads a chance. Would rather run kane in to the ground over the festive period and other players. Wouldnt make a 3rd sub because they're all young but apparently a good experience to sit on the bench.

Same goes for poch

We got lucky last season, as our first half, especially away from home papered over the cracks that began to appear 12 months ago. Failure to invest and move on players during those two baron transfer windows have come home to bit us firmly on the arse. We've now got a demotivated, stale, ageing, complacent and unbalanced squad.

Look at the quality youth and some squad players Liverpool have trotted out today. They have struggled a bit, but the quality is there to see, where is all our quality youth? Why didn't we purchase some young players? What a fucking state.

Because we assumed that by having superb training facilities it automatically means we are going to produce superb youth players.

It helps, but doesn’t necessarily work like that unfortunately.

There is only 1 person that the blame squarely falls on. The short, inept, bald clown we call a chairman who decided he no longer needed to invest when we got top 4 for 2 straight years.

This forum never blames the Chairman.

I’ve been saying the same shit since Jol was in charge. It’s the same pattern of interfering in transfer business and ending up with disjointed squads. Levy is a brilliant business man but if he’d learned anything about football in 20 years then he wouldn’t be buying right backs who can’t defend, centre midfielders who have no positional intelligence, players with big fitness doubts when we play a high press...

Our transfer strategy is a mess and we’ve consistently shot ourselves in the foot. Many times just as we were in reach of the summit.

Yeh, hence why didn't we purchase youth? There are other sources of youth outside of the Europe ... Out scouting network seems naff, doesn't it?

The squad had imploded, and explosions was on the horizon, and Poch never heeded the advice of all and sundry, especially DL, who wanted him to turn it around. So to say Poch wasn’t given time, he certainly was. Many wanted him gone 6 weeks earlier than when he was sacked. Let’s keep it in perspective.
The thing is, it seems some of our players didn't like being told the truth their time at Spurs was up. Pochettino has/is been proven correct.

Saw this on twitter today and it's funny how Jose now needs to invest and change a bunch of players.

Shame the best spurs manager in the history of the prem wasn't supported better huh
By levy and the support

It's kinda refreshing to have old school spurs back anyway, good old family friendly mid table finishes for the foreseeable

We have to show some trust in our youth players. Tanganga and parrott need games like these today. Even if they dont have a great game we need to keep giving them chances and minutes even if a small amount.

Or just them out on loan.

DL! But Poch did himself no favours with his moods and sulking. He should of walked away in summer. That is what I would of done.
Levy should have backed him and he wouldn't have had any moods or been sulking. We need an overhaul at the top. The stadium and facilities are built. That is all Enic have excelled in. Time for someone that can give us success on the pitch to match the facilities. Levy's method of squad investment aren't going to get us where we need to be.

But Poch is surely only moody because he has been let down time and time again by Daniel Levy. Enic need to do one.

If that's the case, we couldn't have appointed a more inappropriate Manager.

They aint going anywhere. They must be raking in the cash with the new stadium and every bit of money that comes in with PL football these days.

Interesting set of results so far under Mourinho.

1. West Ham won 3-2. Looked closer than it was but we could not keep a clean sheet and concede 2 late goals.

2. Olympiakos won 4-2. Conceded the first 2 goals before rallying to win.

3. Bournemouth won 3-2. Again 3-0 up but no clean sheet again.

4. United 2-1 loss conceding first.

5. Burnley 5-0 win

6. Bayern 3-1 loss conceding first.

7. Wolves 2-1 win. Scored first.

8. Chelsea 2-0 loss

9. Brighton 2-1 win conceding first.

10. Norwich 2-2 draw conceding first

11. Southampton 1-0 loss

12. Middlesborough 1-1 draw conceding first.

So 8 out of 12 where we concede the first goal. Feels like we can't start a game fully motivated? Not a dig at Mourinho by the way but it makes our job way harder when we are chasing the game.
