Anyone who has complained that ENIC don't want to win trophies has little justification in complaining now.

That's been the stick to beat the owners with, so if the pretty football wasn't good enough before, it shouldn't be used as the next thing to complain about imo.

This is exactly the kind of thing I was on about earlier. The moral high ground is a fantastic place, all power to you and we as Spurs fans take that high ground ritually, every time there's an issue, that's where we head. He did this, he did that, fuck off I don't want him in my club. Oh boofuckinghoo.

Exactly what I was on about. Wanting ones cake and eating it.

Fuck it, get someone with a bit of bite in, someone who'll put people's noses out of joint, who give as good as he gets and who'll stand our corner no matter what. Because 'nice' has won us fuck all for far too long, if you want nice then fine, but don't complain when once again, we're serial losers.

And the worst of it is, should this whole thing work and we actually win something, those morally superior chaps will fight their way to the front of the mob and cheer loudest.

You can bet both your bollocks, your cat and any residual bumfluff you might have lurking betwixt your pert pear like cheeks on it.
I’ve always been a moral high ground guy with my sports teams and always will be. It’s part of what drew me to Spurs from across the ocean. I always looked at sports like only one team was going to win in a given season so if it wasn’t my team at least I’d still have my soul as a fan. But moral high ground may have been hauled away with the rubble from WHL as we have a shiny new stadium with a whole lot of seats that need asses filling them.

I agree with what somebody else said about how the guys who've been here for the whole project deserve a chance with a coach who can win now. I genuinely took pleasure in rooting against Jose at Man U because of his dickishness. I’ll root for him when he’s wearing our crest but not thrilled about having to do it. I also know that I’m usually wrong when it comes to who I want in as a manager/coach/whatever. I wanted de Boer over Poch. Now I think Poch deserved more time to figure it out after so many top 4 finishes. Again, I’m usually wrong.

''Other than Sacramento, Carlos Lalin will become Mourinho’s fitness trainer at Tottenham while Giovanni Cerra is joining the analysis team and Ricardo Formoshino is joining the club as a scout.
Silvino Louro, the former goalkeeper who has previously worked with Mourinho, is not expected to be part of Tottenham’s new-look backroom team.''

Anyone have any insight?

If we don't spend a lot of money they'll have plenty of justification.

Lille finished second last season, might be an interesting hire. Could be Jose's successor if he's any good? Fack knows.

I'll always miss Jesus.

I think we are going to see a different Mourinho to the broken one we saw at Man Utd. Mourinho is all about himself and he is going to want to change the current narrative that the game has passed him by and that his style is negative. I genuinely think he is excited to work with the players we’ve got in the squad.

I already miss Poch though.
