Yeah because you're just gonna totally ignore our two strikers being injured, had we had both we'd probably be sitting in or around 3rd...

Actually you're right let's just ignore it anyway, carry on rambling nonsense...
Chelsea beat the brakes off us without their two starting wingers, first and second choice striker and their best overall player. I understand we’re going to struggle without Son and Kane but we should be playing better than we are.

I'd say from an outsiders perspective and certainly media at large, he was right but clearly there were underlying squad issues - highlighted many times by resident ITK'ers - and that he's found out the hard way that the job required is a big task and that's not withstanding Kane's injury.

Hardly think by him saying that he should hung out to dry on it, Christ. What did you want him to say when he took over? "Let's get to 40 points and go from there?", blimey....

That’s just it. Can see it even now after games when asked by the media etc, he is absolutely protecting the players and taking the brunt himself.

I have little doubt he sits up at night staring in to a mirror slowly shaking his head and counting the wrinkles whilst thinking about the choices he gets to make when selecting a defence from this squad.
It’s like choosing which way you want to die. Just poor players mixed with stagnant players who need to move away for their own sakes as much as ours!

Thats before he looks at the forward situation...midget winger or youth player?

Forgive me if I'm wrong but Chelsea had a striker on the pitch didn't they?

Yeah, wining the game but not dominating the game - Mourinho out
Losing the game after 3 defensive mistakes but dominating the game - Mourinho out

Interesting stats :)
Tottenham - 65% possesion, 642 passes, 46 long balls(7%)
Wolves - 35% possesion, 340 passes, 71 long balls(20%)

The goal posts move every game mate, you must remember this. It was the same who would **** about Poch when we lost. Same, time after time.

So if we just had Giroud we’d be totally different huh? They beat the crap out of us when we had Kane and Son as well.

These are such key points spot on it’s not just the time but the money and chance to re-shape the squad, if/when we give that to him this summer, if it goes tits up we’ve set ourselves back even further
Not if we buy the right players. Everyone at the club knows we need a DM, another striker, fullbacks, etc. If the scouting setup does its job properly and identifies the right players in those areas (massive if) then even it is the case that Jose is past it and we need to go in a different direction, we'll still be set up well for the future.

I swear we could get relegated and you would act like everything is fine and we would be in the wrong for complaining.
We'd lose a few flaky fans though if that happened. You might even have something worth complaining about then as well.

It’s genuinely outrageously funny how many of you have forgotten how shit we were with a full strength squad under Pochettino this season. Let go lads. Poch didn’t want to be here anymore. He’d had enough of managing us. Move on.

This isn't directly aimed at you, you mentioned the FA Cup and this rant occurred after the fact .... (I have to preface it like this because people)

I hope we go out (save me the angst and the ratings)

This season needs to end now. No more cup games. No more replays. Nothing. Close up shop and end it.

It's been an unmitigated disaster from start to this point now. The positives are outweighed by 101 negatives and, I keep saying it, if the people who post on this forum are a measure of the support of this club, it's deep set.

I get it, people don't like Mourinho. Fine. Some of the rubbish being spouted though is just stuff that contradicts stuff that's already been posted. I don't think that matters. There are 'fans' that want us to fail. There are fans that dislike Levy and want us to fail. Now they dislike both the blokes in charge.

We're West Ham but without the carpet around the pitch. Wonders will never cease.

It’s nothing like this at games. I say I sit in a more grumbly part of the stadium too. By and large people are generally supportive in my section. Just too many tourists but hey ho ( I’m hoping to move seats )

The FA Cup is the only thing left for us to have a bit of a go at. I don’t think we can beat half the teams left in it, but that’s why I’m hoping for a few cupsets and then maybe we blag our way to the final on easy draws and come up against ironically the best team left in it and the one we seem to have a shit ton of luck against, City. Would be a proper old fashioned cup win that

I think it’s a big long shot for us to do this of course but personally speaking I’m looking forward to having a go. It’s a nice distraction from the rest of this current season

Seems fair.

I think today looking around on here I'm not impressed with being a Spurs fan. Having a blast or having a constructive grump is one thing. Today is worse than last week and we did all the things that everyone has been moaning about all week, today, on the pitch.

Fingers crossed you get to move seats! ?

I think the fact that Levy was prepared to give Poch the opportunity and money to overhaul the squad - before things got untenable - shows that there was indeed concerns about this squad even before Jose came in.

When Jose came in he spoke very fondly of this squad and he probably felt he could improve them, Levy being prepared to roll that dice rather than spend but with the thought that he probably will need to spend and have the overhaul anyway. In the meantime Jose is finding out that the squad is actually not as good as he thought and some have nothing left to give.

The reason I say this is because we had ITK from JJ that "January would be fun" and "Poch is going to be fully supported" which seemed to suggest an overhaul was on the way with Poch. So there's no reason to think the same won't happen with Jose and the club are indeed aware that this squad is stale.

As others have already said, we need to see this season as a write off! Yes we're only 1-0 down in champ league and yes we're still in the fa cup, but does anyone really see us doing anything in either without forward players?
Jose is obviously experimenting with the team, playing different players in different positions. Hopefully he's learning who he wants and who he doesn't.
Let's see this season out and go again next season, give Jose the opportunity to at least put his stamp on things. If we're awful halfway into next season then I'm pretty sure Levy will yield the axe, but let's at least give Jose a chance.
The problem will be, with us not getting champ league next year it will effect the quality of players that we can attract and also the amount of cash we'll have to spend, this wont suit Jose at all and will probably lead to his demise.

I’m surrounded by people who sell their tickets on the exchange. Leipzig I had two Leipzig fans next to me ( didn’t go down well at all! ) and about 5 behind a few rows back.

I appreciate the exchange is there for a reason but I’ve yet to use it. Today was second game I couldn’t make this season and I have my ticket to family member ( previous game was Burnley ? )
What a lot of people don’t realise is selling your ticket on the exchange doesn’t help the atmosphere generally speaking. Away fans and tourists getting too many tickets. Need to get in Park Lane ASAP!

It’s always over dramatic on here?
