I don't understand the argument that it's OK that we are playing dull tedious football because that's what Poch served up at the end? Surely that's at least partly why we changed manager?
And I'm a pot stirrer ....

Christ, I wonder how many more accusations can be thrown at me while others are able to throw stones in glass houses.

I love the way some people accuse Jose of being a cheat became he wins trophies lot's of them, but does that make poch a fraud because he doesn't win anything it's complete bollocks.
The club has hired a winning manager so levy and co need to support him with decent funds and let him try and win otherwise what was the point of hiring.
steady...;)

Being a pessimist, we could be 3 points behind sheffield united, having played a game more come tonight.

I'd like to caveat all of this by saying he deserves time, especially when you add the injuries into the equation, and as long as it didnt catastrophicly affect our summer business, I wouldn't be against a year out of europe and the rest that comes with it.

That said, I can't help but notice that while protecting his players with his comments recently, it feels like he's giving them an easy out by using the excuses he's giving.

Jose keeps mentioning about he cut the gap from 12 points to 1 etc, and 14th to 4th place, but if he allows us to regress down the table to 12th/13th (which is a distinct possibility) then it would be interesting to see how he evaluates the season

I don't think that there will be any let offs next season.

What do you expect when our only one RB is rested and one of LB is injured and second is coming back from injury??
Only play 4 of them? Not being able to keep the ball is a massive issue for us and 5 cbs on the field sure as hell isnt going to help that.

I don't understand this concept

well would you rather the buy early so they can play in preseason while 5-6 players will miss it, and be able to give some of those 5-6 players fresher legs going into the season and know what JM wants, or get them in late and know 1 know f'all when the season starts

Well explained, I was only (trying to) joking about the lack of early signings we tend to make as we famously like to do our business too late on in the window

I'd probably expect not to have got rid of two fallbacks without replacement. Or to give Sessegnon ago. Or to play two CBs and one more midfielder. Or just to push Dier up to CM. He has choices. This is his system. To dare is to defend.
