The problem was, GLC, Winks and Ndombele were all awful with the ball on Saturday in the first half. What do you do then?
But so much depends on the movement off the ball around them. What are the team coached to do as attacking movements? Lucas, for example, generally stands completely still asking for the ball to feet. And we played essentially without width with Davies and Tang.
So if you're a creative midfield player, who exactly do you pass to? Nothing in front, nothing to the side, opposition swarming all round you. They had zero chance.
The way we're playing basically relies on one player dribbling past 4 or 5 and scoring.
