This is becoming weird.

He didn't win a pot in his time with us - that in footballing terms is a failure.

He did bring some very good results, some fantastic players, a wonderful ethos and a fantastic night in Amsterdam.

You want to think of me as a troll for stating something that people in the footballing world have stated, media or otherwise, then I don't think there is a lot I can say right here and now to change that opinion. I find it odd that you have singled me out as being a troll when there are others who have voiced a similar opinion on the subject of actually winning something, rather than just memories and a good period. You can enjoy the latter but bemoan the former.

You honestly think I'm a fan of another football club? A troll? I get called a happy clapper on here on a semi regular basis - kinda hard to be a happy clapper and a troll at the same time. Nah, I'm not a troll, I've always been passionate about this club and I should not have to sit here and defend myself to some one like you.

No one likes their club losing, I fucking hate it.

Good. Then stop shitting on the Poch era just because you've doubled down on Mourinho.

It's not that hard.

Unless you're trolling...

Not sure what people expect from Jose. We have seen him poison Chelsea; leave ManU in a worse state that when he took over with fans of both sick of his turgid approach to football. I didn’t want him want him at my club and still don’. Some here I know we’re so excited about how wonderful a legendary manager should come and run our ’little club’. Me having supported for nearly sixty years have always seen us as a big club. Those wanting a raft of new players I guess weren’t around before Poch to remember the days of huge turnovers in planning staff which got us nowhere. Seems like all the good stuff of Poch’s reign is disappearing fast

Most of us have only experienced a pretty shit Tottenham.

in a weird way, it feels almost natural watching us of late! The 60’s to me are mythical. I can’t imagine us being the best team in the land and the wonder boys of WHL etc

So, how long is Dier going to be suspended for then.

Just what we needed.

how long was Cantona suspended? will be less if he didn't actually land anything but he will get a suspension even if the fan upset his younger brother no defence for it really

I still do not understand how people accept the way we played yesterday. How can at times we make Norwich look like Barcelona be acceptable. Mourinho won two tin pot cups at Utd. He will never be Spurs.

My prediction he will bring 0 trophies and we will be spending a fortune to sack him by Christmas.

Kane aside, and of course the homegrown lads, I fucking hate this squad. Can not wait to see the back of most of them. Spineless pathetic excuse seeking ****s

Yep good description of the manager and board. Only good thing is we have a lot of top players

I wouldn't be surprised if players ask to be sold if we continue with this negative football

Gards on twitter has suggested that Kane wants to leave next season. Doubt it, but there's no smoke without a fire

We are literally two points off 5th. The hyperbole in here is crazy tonight. It’s like the match thread has infected every other thread.

if you think playing like we did tonight, or defending (34 conceded in his 1st 22 matches in all comps) as we have since he took over, how do you expect us to defend against our last 10 opponents? 2 above us, 4 within 3pts.

Vorm: trash (should never play in spurs shirt again. No idea why we've brought this guy back)

Aurier: decent at most (We need Aarons this summer)

Sanchéz: terrible at everything. He's not comfortable having the ball. He can't track attackers. He only tracks the ball. I can see him being sold soon.

Dier: had a decent game. Perhaps his future lies as CB

Vertonghen: best performance of his in this season

Skipp: you guys wanted youth, no ? You had. He was really good. Pretty sure Mourinho liked what he saw from him. If he can be consistent he will figure in Starting XI more often.

Winks: wtf this guy does ? Horrible at defending, horrible going forward, can't dictate tempo nor transit the ball forward. He has no idea how to shoot. Squad player at the most but at least he bleeds Tottenham, right ? lol

Lucas: can't pick a pass to save his life.

Bergwjin: still adapting

Lo Celso: brilliant

Dele Alli: has been consistently shit since last season.

People need to stop with all idea that a manager will come in and do a Fergie/Wenger...it just doesn't happen anymore, I might be wrong but 3 years is probably about average for any PL manager to be in a job.
And this stuff about leaving clubs in a mess is pretty daft as well...any examples?

Chavs twice and so so so so so recently manure

The sad thing is, he's actually right.

Players are burning out left, right and centre. Even Pep and Jurgen would at least be struggling in this situation if not on be their knees like Jose is.

I dont get this argument, the players started season with Poch training methods which everypne knows is all about hard training, why are no other top PL clubs showing the amount of fatigue as us? have we played 100 hundred games more than any other team? Its no excuse anymore. I agree there is element of fatgue and tiredness etc... but compared to the rest of the PL its like weve played 100 games more and the way JM goes on about it its like weve played 200 hundred more. Blame needs to be owned by everyone and especially JM and his team he brought it, im not being harsh just realistic whether its nice or not

That, and he'd be fucking stupid to.

I get that fans are pissed off but its just typical fan like emotion..'this aint working after 4 months lets fuck this guy off and get someone else in.'
Levy is much more calculating than your average fan.

People complained about Poch having no plan B, C, etc .... but JM doesnt even have a Plan A thats the issue

We made the wrong choice - Levy needs to take the hit and sack Jose or it’ll be a matter of time before they both go.

Nothing can happen before end of the season so we have to stick with him till then, however if things carry one in the same way in terms of JM's decision, tactics, style etc ... Then Levy and Management really need to have a long and very hard think whether JM really is good for us long term, even if we get brand new players (which im sure we will) i dont see much changing under JM i have to be honest, its not greay for us chopping and changing i dont think any fan wants to see this, especially under Poch was the first times in decades weve had an element of stability, but tough decisions or discussion will have to take place behind closed doors.

Looks like Dier was backing his actual brother up from twitter vids not a racial thing, but I guess the press will jump all over that again.
Why wouldn't the press jump on it? Social media and here at SC everything is sensationalised. These make good stories for journalists.

The team currently playing in Mourinho's team is about 6-7 players different from Poch's team:

Lloris, Toby, Sissoko, Eriksen, Kane and Son. Add Rose in and we have 7. Compare apples to apples. This is a hugely different team we used to see from the last 4-5 years. With such different setup of players, how much it is of asking for Mourinho's team to perform to a level of Poch's team at its best? Alot! And mind you even with Poch's best team, we were seeing dross game plan, weak mentality and poor defence too, losing us games so pathetically in the last 12 months.

Even if Poch first three months were considerably better if anyone would still wanna paint it, at least Poch had a team of young prospects then left for him from AVB. Mourinho took over an ugly mess of uninterested, disgruntled, ageing, expired and disruptive players from Poch himself.

Admittedly it sucks to lose games consecutively, but there were moments in those when we should have done a bit better and score and results would be massively different. The worse games under Poch were a complete dross of warm bodies not knowing what to do upon capitulation.

One thing is Mourinho does have a tougher luck than Poch, who still occasionally won by some miraculous luck that could help paper the cracks.
