If he becomes a full international we’ll have some player on our hands. Irish squad is chockablock with great young keepers at the moment. With Bazunu now at Southampton instead of City he’s ripe for the picking in a couple of years too. Shame he slipped through our fingers already! Pardon the goalie pun.

With Kelleher too, there does seem to be a sudden influx of promising Irish keepers. Hopefully we see the same through the rest of the team!

Travers just signed a new contract with promoted Bournemouth too. He’s come a long way since that clean sheet against us a few years back.

Unfortunately that's about the only position we're very strong in.

Not sure I agree, CB looks promising and CF. Would love us to be looking at Collins off Burnley. I think he is going to be out of this world
I like Collins, yeah, but I wouldn't say we're particularly strong there...more like slightly above average. CF, again, lots of bodies, and lots of potential, but i wouldn't say we're strong there yet. Anyway, not for this thread really, but happy to chat in the coybig thread in GF.

Well GAA football certainly isn't for the feint hearted and would be an excellent grounding for an F.A. goalkeeper, as per one certain Pat Jennings.
Isn’t for the feint hearted is stupendously understating the fact. If you like hitting and getting hit with sticks you’ll love it
