Missed the first half, only turned on in time to see Higuain score. But good to see Tanganga and Skipp doing well. Be nice if Tanganga could solve that LCB conundrum behind Jan.
Also if Rose does go, would Georgiou be a project as third choice LB behind Davies and possibly Sessegnon? I’d prefer that than see KWP shunted over there. Be lovely to see some academy prospects start to fill the gaps. Spend decent money on 3-4 higher calibre players and place faith in academy players, rather than try and spread the same budget round 5/6/7 players.
Whiteman for Vorm
Skipp for Wanyama
Parrott for Llorente
Etc etc
I’m convinced Eriksen will stay now. Also I see Toby staying, like lose him for a free next season, but if it helps someone like Tanganga develop and step up over the coming season, ideal.

Kane and Dele the only senior players looking a little rusty imo. The rest looking quite sharp for a first pre season game

Kane is always a slow starter. No great concern.
