I was thinking, could he play for us in the FA cup? I don't think you need to be part of the 25 man squad, and I remember Scholes played for Utd last year in the Cup vs City before he re-signed officially. Would be good to see him on the bench or even some minutes for us again! I would prefer him on the bench as striker backup rather than having to go with Dempsey

Errmm....some actually quite nice goals in there. Wiki says 18 in 32 games for him in America. Something tells me he's probably not short on assists either. After the scouse ruined him he still looked the same intelligent player, made great runs and got in good positions but had just lost that yard of pace you need in the prem to be effective. Guess the lower MLS quality offsets that a bit

I forgave him when he came back, good to see him back at the club I think deep down he knows this was his club.

Umm....

If we don't sign a striker in the window, I would take Keano for a month until Ade gets back.

Would love to be proved wrong but I very much doubt he would make an impact. Dempsey will have to do until Ade gets back

Not worth signing imo.....club legend but wont make an impact.

Plus LA wont allow it, much like they didnt allow it with Beckham.

Now that he's back, you think we can convince Sheringham to come back for a bit? I bet he could score 1 or 2 for us :D

If I ever see Keano in public I'll immediately run up to him and kiss him. More than welcome back to Spurs in my book.

Great.
I've missed the Keane v Defoe threads.
Glad he's back though.
