I will say in his highlights it’s clear he’s a player who will lay his body on the line to score goals, if he wasn’t showing effort in the game it’s likely cause his head is else where.

Massive red flag because we need someone who can do those things.

Otherwise we might as well go for a quick forward who can at least get in behind teams off the shoulder.

We can't afford to have someone who can't hold the ball up/link play and yet also has no speed qualities to offer a threat in behind...

Whilst I agree we could do with somebody who can hold the ball up, a big problem in our recent matches without Kane is terrible finishing and having no presence in the box especially on crosses.

He obviously needs a fresh start and a confidence boost, from his stats there seems to be a player there, which is maybe what we see and what interested Milan in the first place. Though as a note, if Lamela was to be involved in the deal, they'd need to be offering us cash plus rather than the other way around.
