This is one of the most blatant pieces of member abuse i've ever seen on SC.you really can't take that guy seriously... He's such an agenda driven nob.
There might be questions on how he plays in his own third, but as for when you are on the front foot, I don't think there are many better in the world. He is like a winger...
He's a right back on form, perhaps the standout in the Euros so far. But, not one of the world's best.
To me what constitutes being a world class (or 'worlds best' as the title suggests) player is consistency. The fact Walker still has the odd mistake in him tells me he is not. No doubt about it though that the work Poch has done on both the full backs has been superb.
I take it to mean 3 or 5, but that's how I'd see it. I do think there is a lack of top quality right backs currently. Walker, though, has improved his game tenfold in the past year or so and is showing that with England. Same with Rose on the other flank.depends what you consider "one of" to mean i guess. one of three? five? 10? i think he's probably up there but it's more down to the lack of quality than anything, walker still has a glaring weakness in his game(and it's not defensively as seems to be the general opinion, outside of spurs fans anyway) but his lack of end product in the final third.
I had the same thoughtThe only part of the headline I could see was "Kyle Walker, one of the wor". I thought the missing word was "worst" and that someone had trawled up an old post for a bit of fun. Ahem... worst or world's best, Hmmmm
