A thread here which if correct is not good for inter, they still owe us €12m for Eriksen and also still owe Madrid for Hakimi, also they owe half of the lukaku fee to United still
Ouch

We could be using this to our advantage, "keep the money you owe us and here's another £50 million, give us Martinez"

Sorry but it just happened to be your post.

This is like a bloody broken record! We've had ITK saying that all will be revealed as to where the money is coming from and by all accounts this was before the Kane saga. We've not spent anything yet apart from Gil (if I'm wrong please correct me). The other two signings are loans with the option to buy. Take a wild guess and come up with a figure from the NFL and we still haven't got confirmation on the naming rights! There are so many people guessing a bunch of shit in the transfer rumour thread when they shouldn't be and now you have the chance to guess as much as you want and this is what you come up with? (again not calling you out per say but I've seen this so many times)
I'm as skeptical as the next guy and have been burnt by Levy and the board so many times but there comes a point where you either stop supporting the club or just go with the flow (y)

No prob - we’ll just have to agree to disagree. I’m inclined to believe Levy’s warnings that our financial situation is not superb after 18 months of lost revenue, and the links with Vlahovic & Martínez now suggest to me that, like Villa with Grealish or how we handled the Bale sale, we are (wisely) trying to spend some of the Kane money before we get it. We’ll know if that’s accurate in a few weeks anyway. I’d be delighted to be proved wrong. I suspect I won’t be though.

Wow. Raid from us incoming?
I would take Lautaro, Barella and one of their CB (Skriniar/De Vrij) (y)

I’d happily sell Kane if it meant we got Martinez, Barella and De Vrij with the money. Add in Tomiyasu and Vlahovic, covered by other outgoings and funds, and we’d be in great shape for years!

Lloris
Tomiyasu Romero De Vrij Reguilon
Skipp Højbjerg
Barella
Martinez Vlahovic Son

No one is better placed that Paratici to understand whether this is gamesmanship or not about inters stance post Lukaku sale.
Some stories going around that inter are broke and can't pay wages others that Lukaku and hakimi sales are actually enough to balance books.
Reckon it's going to be a long 3 weeks with all these transfer stories
There you go.. ?

So, apparently Inter will give MU 5 mil because of the sell-on clause. Also they bought him for 70 mil and have paid only a half of that money so far, so they still owe MU ~ 35 mil.
Inter will only have something like 50 mil for Lukaku (considering that the transfer to Chelsea will cost ~90 mil).
50 mil is not enough for them and they desperately need to sell more.
Good news for us? ;)

I know beggars can't be choosers but I wish we had some English talent in our squad.

He would be a good replacement for Bale. He's a quality support striker, think he would do well in a narrow 3 with Son and Kane/Another. If we sell Kane and spend the money on Martinez, Vlahovic and Damsgaard I think that's as good as we could hope for.

I read Paul O'Keefe saying Inter still owe us €12m for Eriksen which might help in negotiations.

If we are looking at players in that price range at this stage, we are def selling Kane imo. I know there have been stories saying they will play with Kane, but this is Spurs. Do not believe we are splashing close to 60 mil as a wing forward or backup nr 9

We only paid a bit less than that for Ndombele.

We could win the league with Son, Kane, Lautaro up front and Romero at the back.

Would be the best attack in the Premier League.

If we were to get Kounde in too, top 4 is a no brainer. I honestly think with just Romero alone we would’ve been finishing in the top 4 last season. We needed one reliable CB so badly.

We still need more in midfield, its were most games are won and lost.

Skipp Sessengon Tanganga Scarlett Clarke (Dele) Winks hmm in all not too bad... I think we should buy back KWP or Aarons possibly Cantwell at Norwich.

I read somewhere Milan had missed a payment or 2 on the Lukaku deal from united.
