Just knew Bamford was gonna score as soon as I commentators say he was in a goal draught

Do we sometimes forget there are other players other than the one with the ball? Dier like a statue completely ignoring the Leeds player in the middle of the 6 yard box
Criminal defending from him for both goals

Maccmanamaman not usually known for his wisdom but summed the game perfectly.

Leeds are playing as a team, we're playing as a group of individuals hoping for a moment of brilliance.

Don’t like to agree with MacManaman, but he’s right there. They’ve been the better team, we’re just relying on something occasionally happening with one of more of our front four.

Terrible from Dier. The only time he's looked good at CB is when we were playing Jose-ball with 8 defenders and a deep defensive line. In an open game like this he's so exposed. He should be nowhere near the first 11 next season.

I'm not offering this as a defence of Dier, but it's not just him - the entire backline has been absolutely appalling this match. Headless chickens every time a ball comes into our box. The only player in defence who's actually done a decent job has been Lloris, but no goalie can help shipping goals when there's chaos in front of him.

I didn’t think left back was an area of concern for us, but Reggy is looking lost again.

and thats why my view is if you need to start drawing lines then it isnt offside. Get the ref to check it on the tv monitor without lines - he can see it a gazillion times but as soona s the lines need to be drawn then it isnt offside - simple. It really isnt difficult to understand or embed.

Spot on. I reckon the attacker should be presumed to be onside by default and goals only ruled out if they were clearly offside.

If it's not clearly visible to the naked in eye that someone is ahead of the defender, then the play should be onside IMO. If it's so close you can't really tell with the naked eye then you can't argue that the striker has gained anything by being in that position.

Awful header, then compounds it by standing like a traffic cone in the 6 yard box while Bamford runs in front of him to tap it in

Rodon maybe inexperienced but what has that experience done for Dier? The square root of fuck all because he makes the same mistakes time and time again

Dier is just terrible. His decision making in key situations is just shockingly bad
