Hope Winks and Sanchez are our first two subs for the lols...

Nice to have some continuity. Hope Bale can continue to dazzle. COYS

Not sure what Rodon did wrong to be dropped from the squad entirely
I don't think it's a matter of being dropped. A new manager means a fresh start for everyone. If you're giving everyone a new chance to impress then Rodon and Tanganga are 2 of the least experienced and easier to leave out. We have a big squad and 1 injury so some good players have to miss out.

I hope for exactly the same mate. He looked well off the pace (distracted/disenchanted?) last week.
I think it's the injury. The same happened last time he rushed back. I'm not sure he fully trusts he has strength back in the ankle. Hopefully he's at it today.

Still really confused about Rodon, only thing I can think is that he's not training very well.

What's to be confused about, he's young and inexperienced. Sanchez is the better defender.

Yeah he looked shite under José but so did
everyone else apart from Kane and Son.

Think we'll remember we don't actually have the worse centre backs in football over the next few games becsuse their not camped out in front of Hugo for 90 mins and terrified that the shite on the touchline is gonna call them out Infront of the world post match and drop them

It seems pretty obvious to me that Ryan is going for experience for these few games. Rodon has 11 appearances in the PL.

I thought he just looked desperate to stat pad so he was snatching at everything: his all-round play was still excellent, it was just his finishing that had gone awry!

Don't agree Sanchez has been the better defender, in fact Rodon has been better than Dier this season also, so to not see him at all on the bench so far under Mason I think is surprising.

No doubting his talent but he gets an easy ride imo. He cant play in a midfield two. Its not even opinion its near enough fact. Our results show that.

He was awful defensively against Southampton and was rightly benched for final. Although he shouldve come on instead of Sissoko.

I think in a 4-3-3 is where you get the best out of him.
