Some people suffer from anxiety disorders in unfamiliar surroundings. Its no laughing matter. Try reading Marcus Trescothick's autobiography; Coming Back To Me.

really good example - a man at the top of his game, he was as embarrassed about the whole affair as people were slating him for his "attitude".

To be fair, he didn't impress me against Mexico, being continually dragged out of position, following his man inside and leaving the wingback too much space, but if he can overcome his anxiety then, considering how thin on the ground we are for LB's, he's got a very good shot at getting at least on the plane, even if he doesn't feature.

He had a tough time against Mexico, with little to no cover from Gerrard, Carrick and Milner.

King got caught out covering for Baines because of this.

Disagree about being a wimp, but don't believe for a second he is good enough.

Down side is, there isn't anyone else good enough either. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm praying for Cashley not to get injured.

Jesus Navas is another player who suffers badly from this disorder but he is going to SA with Spain.

I'm not too bothered about tight spaces. But I don't go around laughing at people with claustrophobia.

While Cole is by far the strongest english left back, I'd say Baines is twice the player Warnock is.
